They deserve a ZERO rating from me, not even the 1 star!!! We are a business and dependent on our vehicle to run our business - our van is our bread and butter of the company. We had planned major deliveries for Friday 10Sept2021 to PMB and Port Shepstone, so we arranged for our van to go in for a servicing Thursday at 10am, by 12pm Justin Wade from CarTime Morningside telephoned to say that our van was involved in a terrible accident while they were test driving it. So terrible that both airbags were released. Since it is not a van for leisure but imperative for us to run our business we requested a courtesy vehicle. On Thursday Justin said we can have a R400 a day allowance for car hire - even though R400 a day would never be able to get us a VAN hire which we need, it was something. However by Saturday 2 days later Justin stated he never offered the R400 a day allowance for car hire, AND neither will there be a courtesy vehicle provided to run our business. Now weve had to hire a truck to deliver our orders, which is costing us enormous costs, not to mention loss of business, penalties each day for the late deliveries, drivers salary, stress - there has been no feedback from Cartime Justin OR his insurance brokers Orchid Risk regarding our van. I am scared to think of how long this matter is going to take and all the costs I have to incur. I do not blame Cartime for the accident, it is an ACCIDENT - but our company van was in their possession and their responsibility - where is the professionalism, or customer care and customer service?? Justin is unprofessional.  Looking at the number of bad reviews, this company should not be allowed to continue business!!!!

Brightly coloured shop, and professionalism from a team that didnt take advantage of a lady who didnt know what was wrong with her brakes.

My colleague took his car for a major service. only to receive a call from one of the shop hands telling him his car had internal damage and he would need to spend a lot on replacing it or he would not be able to travel long distances. After hearing this I knew this was utter nonsense. My poor Colleague know little to nothing about cars and they intended to abuse that fully. after getting the car back it was taken to another mechanic to be checked and he confirmed there was nothing wrong with it.

Went for service month back they did the service and 360 degree car check, after the check they did not tighten up my right wheel, on my way from work driving on the normal speed which is 120 on the freeway the Tyre wobbled for quite some time without me noticing, it wobbled till its was held on the last bolt. My Bearing was damaged, my Tyre,disk, and the whole of the right side suspension was damaged had to repair many things. They service was TERRIBLE !!!!!! They also called me to fetch the car after they said they done with service only to find out they had not started washing the car, had to wait an hour extra and face the heat with my bosses.

They wanted to charge me R300 for break fluid and R70 for my break light bulbs. Service was alright though they dont give you a break down on what oil was used and you must yourself as I did.

Great place for a car service. They were cheaper than other places I called and did a great job.

I took my car to Durban Car Time in October/November 2016 as I needed new break pads, which were fitted front and rear and I have just found out that the pads fitted were too small and also dangerous to be driving under those circumstances. We have had numerous dealings with this company and all we do is pay and the problem that should have been repaired never seems to be done properly.I would definitely not recommend that they be used under any circumstance.They take your money and dont provide a service.Do not support!!!!!!!!! Even when you get their brochure at the robots offering a car service for R599. DRIVE ON !!!!!!
