I took my 2002 C220 Mercedes Benz to Brooklands Auto for some work to be done on the- Engine and gear box mountings.- Door locking mechanism- Level Sensor- PumpWhich was all paid in full as per invoice.On arrival to pick up the car, the car wouldnt select any gears which was never something I had trouble with ever. They then told me to do a diagnostic to check what the issue was, which I went forward at my expensive. The issue was Identified as a problem with the gear selector, which was then changed and repaired. at my expensive again.This was all done in July 2020. During lock down I could count the times i used the car as I didnt travel much. Invoice (Date 7/21/2020)Fast forward to (23/10/20) my car only selects reverse and doesnt engage into DRIVE. I have contacted Brooklands Auto to drive out to me to take a look at car. which was 3 months after the repairs were done.When you pay such amounts to have your car repaired you expect it to have some sort professional courtesy to the customers.My car hasnt been the same seen leaving that workshop and is still standing till today because they refuse to take responsibility for their extremely bad workmanship, Further more the door locking mechanism that was changed worked once on.I would never recommend anyone take their cars to Brooklands Auto their assurance to deliver on the repairs are appalling.I am not one to post poor reviews but I am horrified with their ability to deliver and want no one to have the experience I have.
