Really unhappy with my camera experience here - these guys I had a broken camera flip out screen - the LCD was broken but I could still use the touch controls and kind of see what was being displayed. When I take it to them they charge me r7500 to fix it and on top of that they cut my camera ribbon which was attached the whole time and not I cant use that whole screen even if I could find an LCD to replace it myself. Definitely do not recommend going here especially because they lied to my face about not being able to get a cheaper replacement for the LCD as I later found out and they lied to me claiming I brought the camera in with the ribbon already cut - if it was already cut I wouldnt have been able to use the touch controls and kind of see what was being displayed. Very disappointed

Shocking - I was charged R2000 for a repair of my film camera. They quoted me to fix the shutter that was jamming and the lens that had a light-leak - only to find out there was absolutely nothing repaired. After being told that they definitely repaired it and I just needed to bring it back and I would not get my money returned, I took my camera to Fotomax who simply replaced the battery and the camera is fully functioning again. Not to mention when they tried to charge me R1000 more when I went to pick up the camera.

Probably the worst camera store or store in general that I’ve ever been to. The owner is extremely rude, speaks like a “know it all” and makes you feel inferior(until you open your camera bag that’s probably worth an entire wall of his). Prices are then rip offs and he offers absolute garbage to buy good gear from you. Cash crusaders offer way more. It’s no surprise the store is always quiet and he’s so grumpy. So worried about making money from overpriced goods and services that ethics and morals are lost. I, as a professional photographer will never do any business with him.

Service is good. Nick knows his way around a camera, but there needs to be more transparency. I called ahead and wasnt told there was a fee to quote for repairs.

I brought my one year old camera, which was still functional for a repair estimate. When returned, photos wouldnt register to SD card. I decided against the repair (too expensive). The owner refused to look at the camera again to bring it to the functional state it was when he first received it. I cant believe ther unhelpful attitude as this ruined my vacation, as I am the tourist here and now have no means to take any photo. I regret greatly I brought my camera to this place!!

Hi Guys, I did visa photos at camera clinic in musgrave, that was for my family of 4,for which my visa interview was in Johannesburg. The photos was not accepted due to the print quality from Which I had to redo inorder to get my visas done. Then on arrival back to Durban, I called this somewhat photo professionals (camera clinic) on this issue I had, just to get the response. WE NEVER HAD THIS ISSUE BEFORE, WE CANT DO ANYTHING....
