Always buy from a busy outlet so u know you are getting fresh cooked food and butchered products. Small outlet willl sell you the remainder of the previous days food. They cant let it go to waste.

Fantastic service on super short notice as I had mixed up the dates on my order 🤦🏻‍♀️. The guys still helped me out and exceeded anything I could have expected. The meat was prepared to an excellent standard and they really saved our event by going out of their way to assist me. Highly recommend

Ordered food with my team today.Called in at 10.15 to place an order for delivery at 12.30... called at 12.30 and multiple times for the next hour to find out where our food was.We have scheduled breaks and our food came over an hour late. The burgers had no sauce and the full chicken didnt come with rolls as advertised.The plus side was that wings were fresh and spicyBut irrespective of that I would not from them again due to the Terribly long wait and bad customer service. After 1pm I could not even get ahold of the store the call continuously cut off. Really disappointing as I have heard such good things about this place.

Bought a lamb bunny, there where five bones, a large piece of fat, and one piece of meat that was turning black. Pathetic. In these trying times businesses are doing their best to acquire customers yet this establishment is deterring customers. This type of meal is a clear indication of what this business thinks of its customers. This type of meat is not even worthy to serve to an animal.

Please stick to the stuff you do great which is selling meat, Having these quick specials for a full chicken tikka meal at R99 is good when its done properly and taste good, but The chicken was poorly done, chips was terrible, I mean how can you run a special when it is so badly done, When you run a psecial ensure you WIN big time otherwise you aer just loosing out, Never will i buy that again from you guys. Its a butcher, not a restaurant. I expected a restaurant. No atmosphere. Sunday afternoon, boring. Guys play some light music. Nothing loud. But the food is Devine. Dont eat outside, the food gets cold quickly.

The Lamb special was a big joke and rip off. The mince was the most disgusting thing Ive eaten. The Lamb Biltong is really bad. It tastes nice but very very very hard. Cant eat it. I ordered online for pick up as the delivery fee was insane. After 48hrs they give you a very small time frame to pick up your order. Its only for 2 hrs on a specific date so if youre at work or busy then too bad. The manager at the store refused to come out to speak to us about a query on Saturday. Not impressed. Better Butcheries out there. Stay away from the Lamb Biltong and mince.

Quality of meat not good. Marinated chops were not fresh - I asked for best end chops & ended up with leg chops. Hot mutton sausages were the worst quality I have evertasted.

I drove from Phoenix for your lamb special as advertised on the paper recieved yesterday, when I got there I was told this was no longer available. It doesnt state anywhere on your add while stocks last or the date that the promo runs up until . Really disappointed as I was looking forward to trying out your butchery . Whilst I was there I noticed other people getting turned down on that special. I can only imagine how many new customers you would have potentially got . Next time be more clear and specific when you advertise.

Ordered online special 6-7kg for R695. Weighed 4.7kg on my electronic scale. Took same meat parcel back to the store measured 4.7kg. They are robing the customers and theccustomers dont even know it. They robbed me off approx. R240. Sent numerous emails. No responses. Guy by the name of Garrett at the store, is incompetent, his excuse is that his waiting for head office, yet tells you, you can only deal with him

Putting old specials on the website, then dont answer the phone to confirm pricing and only to be told otherwise when at the store. No sanitiser stand at the front of the store and the staff dont care when asked.

Visited the Meat Market based on the reviews of a popular Facebook page and had their lamb bunny chow earlier today.Customer service and flavor was very good but the filling was 80% mostly fat and bone. Wouldnt haved minded to pay extra for proper pieces of meat.Card machine was also not working and when asked if l could pay cash they was unable to do so.Unfortunately, my family and l wont visiting this establishment.

We got the lamb bunnychow from here. It was tasty but had only 3 fatty pieces of meat in it. I was very disappointed.

Meat market recently advertised on a special for lamb which was very cheap. They meat was packed behind closed doors. When we checked it at home, more of it was fat. It was a rip off. Idont recommend meat market.

Fantastic food, iconic steak, the potatoe salad was fantastic but could have been served a bit more for the amount of meat I had. the presentation was superb. the Price is fairly reasonable. The wait to pay was a bit long. the Waiter didnt know who my order was for. The management are doing a great job, let down by some staff. I feel the administration system has a lot to do with this. It was long to process a single order. I called ahead so the wait was short but the estimated time during busy times is around 20 minutes which is a while for the employed sector.It is quite empty during weekdays. They also have great cuts of meat and also sweet cakes that will make you feel guilty to look at.

This place does not even deserve a 1 star, they market themselves so well but when you actually go to the store the service is pathetic, the staff are so unfriendly, the food was disgusting and under cooked the meat still had blood inside, this place made me sick I would never go back there. Thought wed try the restaurant this time after we had decent takeaway bunnies chows from here.I ordered lamb chops, which were good. The sides - chips a little undercooked, onion rings were crispy, but needed to be cooked a little longer, and lacked salt. The coleslaw is not worth it - it comes in a little sauce bowl! All of these sides are R15 each btw. Our drinks (500ml water+ can sparberry) were R20 each...Service was a bit of a let down - they forgot our one entire order.The restaurant is not worth the hassle. Just buy your meat, go home and cook it yourself.
