What a pleasure to shop at Oxford they are so cheap and well organized

There is something different about Oxford, besides being an independent retailer, as opposed to the big 4 Retail Chains. Not sure what it is, but entrepreneurial and flair come to mind. What I cant understand though, is that since it was birthed by Cambridge Cash & Carry Paul & Brett chose to stay with the elite college nomenclature of Oxford, why did they choose the hideous black corporate theme. Surely a distinctive Oxford Blue(s) would have made the symbolism both more authentic and easy on the eye than Macarbe Back!?

First time Ive visited Oxford and am very impressed. Great selection of groceries, meat and a nice deli. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good place to shop.

Prices misleading and store management no available to assist. Waited 25min and the staff could not find management. Its easier to void an items on POS than assisting a customer. Supervisors is not empowered to assist customers. Poor customer experience. Average spent at 5k, going forward 0

Oxford is a very good supermarket with very competitive prices. I shop there for my family every week. Although prices have increased like everywhere else, they have maintained and even improved the range and quality of their range of foods etc. Their staff are very pleasant and helpful too.

May God crown all your efforts with success 🙏🙏🙏Having said that, I was a bit disappointed when I heard that you guys denied my two colleagues(Firefighters) the privilege of not queueing while other emergency services were allowed. They even explained that they were still going for the second night shift.Please help me to understand this, because I know that you will expect road users to respect us and give us a right of way when we are responding to your store/house in case of emergency, yet you deny us the same respect when we visit your store. I personally did not want to believe it really happened, hence I am asking if it is true.Thank you

Really appreciate the new store layout between the fresh produce and the meat, far less cluttered, making it easier to access the lanes. I always appreciate the excellent prices of cheese at Oxford, as well as 5lt White Vinegar.

Very clean, prices are great. However, I found it odd that the store closes at 8pm, I was at the shop by 7pm but the fridges were closed/covered, staff had already removed prices on on special items.

Very good prices, usually fresh but not always the best quality on fresh produce. Its my regular stop for bread, milk and cereals. Staff and management are friendly and helpful. It can get very busy.

Oxford is so user friendly. If looking for Fresh products at a reasonable costs then Oxford is the Answer🍋

My experience at Oxford is very good, Store has enough parking, sufficient stock, fresh fruits and vegetables, variety of groceries and also friendly Staff. I rate the Store 10 out of 10.

Its always a great place to do my shopping👍.😀 The staff inside the store are very helpful. Today the young lady who was passing out boerewors samples went way beyond her duty when she offered to help my husband who was struggling to arrange his good in his basket as he has had a stroke & battles with his left hand. The only thing that I have an issue with is the carguards- they are not in the least bit helpful or friendly🙄.

Good place to shop. They do a specials on Tuesday (so I have heard. I stand to be corrected) they do sell alcohol its behind the oxford market shop.

Well done to everyone at Oxfords after this all the riots we have had and they were stocked up and ready to help the public we were in and out so quick and they did not even up there prices like alot of other places we went to thank you and may you guys go from strength to strength

Tuesday sale is real sale. I love the way they manage the access to limit the number of customers to meet regulations for Covid19.Great service from a guy at the butchery. I forgot his name but he had a great customer service. Surely Ill come again.

This is a really great shop, wonderful deals and discounts. I shop there once a week without fail. They sell the cheapest milk in town! They also have the air conditioning running un their store, making shopping there on a hot day very pleasant.

Where to even begin. Fresh fruit fresh veg at almost give away prices. Their meat selection is mind blowing and let me tell you some of the best cuts I have ever had when you having a braai or even just making a Bolognese. Sauces spices cleaning products to bread etc they got it all. I personally do all my monthly shopping at Oxford Freshmarket as its hard to beat their prices.

Great value for money and selection you may need for your pantry or fridge, excellent specials every Tuesday, I save on average R250 every time I visit. Well worth the 15 minutes drive on the M13 from Westville, mid morning is the best time, remember they open at 6am

Oxford Freshmarket Hillcrest is mostly a wonderful experience.Not only are their prices wonderfully low, the products are fresh too.The staff are friendly as well as helpful.

While I really love shopping at Oxford, I am always annoyed by their huge mobile pallets that block pathways - especially in the fresh produce, butchery and dairy sections. Their prices and service are great though
