More advertising than anything. They advertise huge on social media but huge dissappointment. Its a drab dated small shop. They wouldnt even package your meat and sausages the way you want it. You have to pay additional for trays to package your meat. Would not recommend this place. Way better butcheries out there than this one.

Durban Halaal meat is one of the best meat markets to shop in . Always clean , neat and reasonably priced. I travel sometimes 3 times a month just to do my monthly shopping . Love it !!!

Good quality meat. Pricing is competitive on some of their meats. Mostly red meats, not really on chicken. Shop is a bit small so can get quite busy. Rather go early and call ahead to find out about specials.

At first they had a bad reputation. But they have improved by leaps and bounds. I honestly have not come across a butcher that has products a good as this in the whole of Durban. Well done guys. Keep up the good work. As a customer its highly appreciated.

Quality of burgers was awful! If tog look at the pics the burgers have strings in it. What the hell is the strings is beyond me. Is it even meat?!!! Took days in still waiting for the response on my email sent to them! Purely disgusted and it was the first time we visited that store!

Great service from Durban Halaal Meats. It was my first time purchasing from this supplier but due to lockdown restrictions I was looking for an online butchery that would deliver to my residence. My first impression of the Place is that it is immaculately clean, muhammed who is the owner served me personally. His efficient and kind demeanor made me feel warm and welcome. I tried their rump and sirloin from their aged steak range as well as their lamb chops. And to be completely honest, I had my doubts initially but the proof was in the taste. The steak was like butter and the chops were divine. The marinade on their chops are to die for. It didn’t have that funny meaty smell that you get from most other butchers like star, bluff or jolly meats. Their meat in my opinion is fresh and the best tasting that I’ve had in a very long time. I also wanted to try their sausages and he recommended the Dhania sausage. It was sublime for better sense of the word. Soft, juicy and full of flavour as mutton Sausages should be. No more trips to Stanger for sausages for me. And their prices are unreal. I mean lamb prices at the moment are around the R 115-120/kg Mark. These guys are selling lamb for R100/kg. This butcher deserves the support of the community because not only are their products brilliant, their pricing is much more affordable than other butchers who have on numerous occasions ripped us as the community off. The cherry on the top was they braaied all my meat for me FOR FREE!!! I’ve got to admit that I’ve really been blown away by this new butcher. From the attitude, knowledgeable advice, quality, freshness, taste and PRICE. They ticked all my boxes. I wish them all the success and look forward to my next trip to the butchers

Absolutely Disgusting. We bought Mutton Sausages - 3 different types. Meat was spoilt and covered up with garlic and herbs. When I went to return, the owners could not eat, as they did not know if it was prepared halaal. Told his staff to taste, staff said it was fine. The meat was smelling off when frying it. They did not return my money.

Its a new butcher, we just walked in and some manager or someone came to greet us straight away, he told us everything was on special that day. Also they wholesale to the public so they have low prices, the manager was walking around and checking on all customers if they ok or needed anything, he also said that his chicken fillets are ultra fresh and not frozen like in other butchers.. Compared to Checkmart and checkstar the mutton sausages are like R55 for around 1 kilo and at checkmart/checkstar they were around R80. Its a new store and its doing great!
