I bought my wedding dress here and my husband bought his suit for our wedding. Service on both sides was attentive and helpful. Zama was great on the wedding dress side- she helped me find the perfect dress on my first visit to try on dresses. It was helpful to be able to view options on the website in advance. I did have minor alterations done on the dress and they were done well and at a reasonable price. The alterations side of things was, at times, a bit disorganised but it all got done in good time. The team also arranged for me to have my dress steamed again in the week before the wedding at no charge which was really great of them. Overall a great experience.

The worst place to buy from! Absolutely disappointed

Well established company with tailor made out fits for Ladies and Gents. Different items to choose from. Gents - suites, socks, bow ties, shoes and more. Ladies beautiful wedding dresses, bridesmaids dresses and may more to go with that special day. Great staff friendly and always willing to assist

I purchased my wedding dress, a veil, bridesmaid and flower girl dresses at Bride&co. Initially everyone was very helpful but as soon as I paid for everything the service went out the door. I left my dress there for a month and half and upon collection the alterations was not done. I was advised to come back the following day and still had to wait an hour and a half for poorly done alterations. Bear in mind I stay 400km from Durban so this was more than an inconvenience when I got home only to find that the veil that was packaged was the incorrect one. I hope future brides have a better experience as I would not recommend purchasing at this branch.

Beautiful bridal Dresses and amazing Suits.Worth checking out for bridal party dress

I originally tried on wedding dresses at the Bride and Co Canal Walk, a lovely experience but fell in love with a dress that was one size too small. I phoned through to the Durban branch to see if they had my size. Thankfully they did. Shaista Moodley assisted me and what a fantastic experience. Once I had made payment, they couried my dress up all the way to the Cape Town branch. I was first worried what the condition would be, as I brought a sale dress but when i picked up the dress from Canal Walk brand. It was crisp white and in mint condition. Thank you for the fantastic service! We are also grateful to the Canal Walk Team who made us feel so welcomed when trying on dresses and I enjoyed that the consultants were helpful but did not hover around too much. A tip for brides trying on dresses. Take a good long look at the website before going, decide what styles you like and chose your top four/five picks that you want to try on when you go for your consultation.

Not many bridesmaid dresses in stock and not the friendliest bunch

I had last minute time to take my cousin to try on dresses, so I called the branch and they accommodated us for a fitting within the next half an hour, which gave enough time to get there.We got there and we got assisted by the most detail oriented sales lady, she was amazing, she pulled out a selection of dresses to our tastes and when we found the actual dress, she was the most honest we could ask for, she gave her honest opinion and helped us out with accessories to fit the dress.We knew that that dress was the one. She then held the dress for us in order for us to come up with the deposit for it.Overall, the customer service in this branch is above par! She helped us step by step with everything and offered to help with much more.This world needs more people like her.I don’t know your name but thank you for making my cousin look her best for her big day!

Thanks a lot Bride & Co Umhlanga. Im one of the brides that suffered a loss when Euro Bride decided to shut their doors without informing us. I lost R10 000.00 deposit with that and i was devastated, im still devastated. Unfortunately i had already purchased my dress somewhere else but was still looking for bridesmaid dresses and when Taisha told me i was getting 50% on all the dresses, i was elated ecstatic.....i couldnt believe it but guess what she was for real. You guys really made my day and i thank you for your generosity. You are really awesome and i would recommend you anytime to anyone looking for friendly, professional and beautiful bridal gowns.

The staff is very friendly and patient and very helpful. Their wedding gowns are gorgeous .

Excellent service

I went in and got a dress which my family chose but it was not what I wanted but I got it. 2 months later I broke down and told my future husband he told me to contact them which I did and explained everything. They were so helpful and told me to come back and choose what I wanted and they returned the dress I did not want for the dress I did. I cannot explain how appreciative I am for all their help. They made me feel like a bride and I cannot thank them enough for making me feel like I did. I am so thankful I went to Bride & Co they go far and beyond for you.

I made an online booking on 9 September 2019 to visit the Umhlanga branch on 28 September 2019. On Friday 27 September just before 5pm I receive a call from one of their ladies that unfortunately they are fully booked and I would need to move my appointment by an hour late. Off course I was not happy about this as I have made other appointments as well for that they and I told the lady so. Her excuse was that they did not take into account the telephonic appointments. I informed her that I will not be moving my appointment and she needs to make a plan. Less than 5 minutes later I get a call to state that they have moved a client that phoned in. How can you only realize after 2 weeks that you have over booked. Okay that was my first bad impression with this store. Next day we arrive at the store a bit earlier than expected. No worries as we will just use the time to browse. Next moment an Indian lady comes up to me informs me that I should pick five dresses and that she will then check my sizes and I can fit those dresses. Uhm okay no problem but who are you? Still do not have her name. We pick dresses then get scolded as we are not supposed to remove the dress from the rack, uhm okay you never told us that. Finally head into the dressing room, I literally only wore 1 dress from the ones I picked out as she kept on changing dresses, which was either too small or too big, and not listening to what we are saying. I was literally only in the store for 30minutes of my 1 hour appointment, and believe me I will never refer anyone to this store!! Useless and way overrated and the dress selection is way to few for a bridal store with this big name!!

Such an ordeal to buy burgundy bridesmaid dresses from the Umhlanga branch. The consultant lied about the correct sizes being available in other branches or didnt bother to check on the system when she was requested to do so. So size large dresses were ordered for two bridesmaids and we wouldve had to pay extra for alterations due to her withholding information from us.Luckily the bride went into the store again and checked with a different consultant and found out that there are sizes available in Nelspruit which we have now ordered. But for some reason we lost the discount on the dresses that we got with the initial order🤷‍♀️Future brides/bridesmaids beware as they are only interested in the sale and not how you are going to look on the important day. You dont need the stress that we experienced trying to fix this.The wedding is in about two months and that is why we are sticking with this store otherwise we wouldve went somewhere else. Lets see if the dresses come on time and if we are refunded for the alterations accordingly as that store is a mess👀

Shocking service so we left. Rude, werent interested in helping us and I was looking for 5 dresses. When I enquired about hiring, the answer was no, contrary to the info on their website. Very disappointing!!!
