De cruise tour was great

The ride was awesome especially on the waves. Loved it.

What a wonderful boat trip out to the open waters. Looking back at durban from the ocean was epic. A bit choppy but that made it even more exciting.

My family and I enjoyed our trip. The kids loved it

Its a bit risky its wood and the experience in the sea was quiet scary reason he takes a high wave and dip we nearly fell in the water I will never recommend sarie Marais cruises anymore its rotten wood

We had a most wonderful and informative cruise with the company. We were 2 disabled people and their help and concern was first class.

Nice and informative and calm in the Harbour but a bit scary in the open ocean. The waves were quite big!

Love it.

Surprisingly we had a pleasant trip to just past the north pier made an about turn back into the harbour. We did see dolphins cool. These trips can be very full and the music singing and dancing does not appeal to all.

Great for family outings, and food around the area is Very tasty

Been on a cruise for a company function a good few years ago. Was memorable. Excellent views of the city along the coast at night.

Tried tested and trusted over many many years. An entertaining cruise around the harbour for the whole family. Go to Wilsons Wharf and get aboard.

Nice place to have a public boat cruise. However, i had dificulty concetrating on the enjoyment as passagers were not enforced to wear safety jackets

Horrible. Wasnt informed that the cruise was for someones birthday.... Had kids on the boat, which was scared of the party (alcohol and very loud music) . The other patrons didnt even listen to the safety announcements. Wont recommend to friends and family. Totally unacceptable. Your response of a: public cruise doesnt apply - Public entail small children / toddlers as well - these doesnt mix with alcohol - you can surely agree.

Sarie Marais only takes 6 or more passengers but not less which is understandable.Some good advice... first phone before arriving.

Excellent deep sea cruise, ship was clean and well maintained. The loading steps was a bit wonky but otherwise it was great. Recommended for whole family.

Quite disappointed. It states VERY clearly on their website that cruise times can be changed to suit any occasion yet they are not willing to accommodate me for my birthday. If they had other bookings I would understand, but they dont allow pre bookings either?When I explained that I feel its money for them either way, why not just book it and have me pay, they said I could arrive at 9AM the morning of my birthday and buy all the tickets for the 1 hour cruise at mid day, so I must wake up and rush super early on my birthday in the HOPE that I can book out all the tickets, for ONE hour.Would never recommend them to anyone and will never try use their services again. The lady on the phone was very polite, Ill give them that. Other than that this is a business that doesnt care about customers.

We had a terrible experience. It was an hour of music so loud my ears hurt after a while. People were drinking and dancing on the trip which is really unsuitable for small kids. I dont mind the party vibe, but warn people ahead of time or have specific booze cruise times.

What a bad experience. same song playing for a whole hour. they leave the people to walk around so much they just sommer stand infront of you that you do not see anything. complained about the music still waited till we back in harbour before changing song. i have been brought up with the ritual that when we are in kzn we go for a cruise on the sarie marais. so i thought i will do the same with my boys but dissapointed to say the least. even them didnt enjoy it at all. the sarie marais will never be used by me or any of my family again

Good trip but music they played was too noisy.

When we booked we were told to arrive 15 minutes prior to departure , they only started boarding us after arranged departure times,Captain and crew failed to control a passenger who was drinking alcohol on board and screaming and dancing as if it was a private chartered cruise,We took a family cruise but the music was blaring beyond acceptable legal noise levels and the music was in no way ethical.

The boat cruise was phenomenal. i enjoyed every moment of it.

A fun,easy going trip into the harbour.

Lovely cruise ship...

The crew were very arrogant telling the guest to tip the crew as the owner pays them very bad wages, the Captain took the boat out the harbour mouth after being told that the guest were mostly older people and and the water would be to rough, then when the cruise was over the crew chased the guest to get off the boat we will not be using your services again
