0 stars for customer service!! Unfortunately as a regular customer I will not return to this store. Poor communication between head office and franchised store. After purchasing a voucher on the 5th of Jan the store informed me that due to head office not sending the official voucher and that proof of payment is not enough, the only thing they could do is send an email and wait a day for the lead time. I immediately called the head office myself as it seemed so dated to have to wait for email response, had the situation sorted before my appointment at 11 and upon arriving back to the store before my appointment, it was already given away. Having taken time off work to ensure I could have my treatments done as well as having a full day planned thereafter, I was not happy with being squeezed in at a later time. Seems ridiculous to make a problem between head office and store the responsibility of the customer.

I had received the best experience with sorbet gateway.I had called in twice to ammend my appointments and the ladies were SO polite and friendly, I absolutely loved how hassle free and just pleasant it was.Yesterday I had went into sorbet for the first time to get my nails done.I was attended to hy the most polite friendly nail tech who helped me choose appropriate colors for my skin tone.Being torn between 2 colors she even trialed both on me to help me decide.The place was sanitized often and had clear glass shields up to be protected.I was super impressed by the craftsmanship and the environment. It was so positive. I will definitely me going in again.Absolutely Inlove with the service.

Brand sells itself. A little pricier than your typical salons but I feel worth the experience. Id rather pay a little extra for professional service. And any of the salons u visit u know what to expect and they certainly deliver.

Hi. So yesterday 16/12/2020, I did my nails for Christmas. They had no Christmas nail Art n couldnt even do the art on a picture I showed them. I asked for snow flakes at least n was told they dont have n not like it even snows here. The lady that did my nails was rude n wasnt impressed that she suppose to go on lunch n had to stay n do my nails cause she could draw the snowflakes. When I called to make the booking I asked about the nail art n the lady said R20 a nail. When I got my bill it was R30 a nail n I questioned that only to be told the girl painted the snowflakes n it wasnt a sticker so its R30 a nail. Ended up with a bill of R680. Not the first time Ive had bad service from them n if i wasnt given a Sorbet Voucher i wouldnt have done my nails there

They do great work on mani and pedi. Just sometimes I feel that the therapists rush through the treatments.

Good dayI hope that you are well, because I am not!Over the past few years of being a loyal Sorbet customer at your Gateway branch, I have noticed a drastic change in my need to support Sorbet. I purchase a lot of Dermalogica products for me and my family. However, every time I go there, I have one of your employee’s pester me and harass me and literally stand on me, giving me no place to walk and breath. They do this just to get their commission and have no care about customer service. Even though, I know exactly what I need and can be in and out of there in a minute, I am trapped in by an employee. On one of the occasions, I had one of your employees push my son out of the way into the wall and bruising him, just to go to the teller to inform them to add their commission to the sale. And on another occasion, I had already taken the product of the shelf and was walking to the teller, when one of your employees came and asked me if I needed help, so I said no. But she still went to the teller and collected the commission on a sale that she did not asset with.There have been numerous other events that I can name. And these events have led me to no longer support Sorbet and find another alternative. If Sorbet cannot treat their PAYING customers with respect, then should I support the CORRUPT company?Thank youMr. N Singh

Had an appointment for a power pedi, got there 20 mins early, and they were able to accommodate me soon after. Very timid therapist with very little to say. She was doing her job, no feeling of pride coming across. She occassionally jabbed too hard, or dug around too roughly, to the point I had to ask that she be a little more gentle. Job done, she basically left me to navigate putting my shoes on myself. First time ever. Very busy store, so they must do things right, or have a very loyal client base.

I had lash extensions done and after a few hours the lashes started falling off and realised that my skin from my eyelid had also been glued at some points of the lash extensions. Very disappointing!!

Had it not been for the nail technicians Id have walked out the store..... The ladies at reception have no sense of customer service and seem unwilling to own up to the mess up in the booking ..... #willNOTcomeaback
