Wonderful! My nail technician was lovely.

I had a quickie Mani and pedi. My nail tech was poorly trained in applying nail polish, I showed her problems to fix but she made a poor attempt at them :( The result was a mani with messy borders, bubbles and an uneven, thick surface. I wanted to spoil myself because sorbet staff are usually well trained but that experience was just disappointing. I do not feel special.

The worst wax I’ve ever had in my life. Terrible technique, if you can even call it technique at all, she waxed in lots of small painful pulls instead of big deliberate pulls. She had me in so much pain and I have a high pain threshold. She also had to keep redoing areas because she kept messing up. When she went to a particular area she turned me on my side, which made no sense, I asked her if I could please turn over and she refused to let me do so. And to top it all off, I left with hair still on my body. When I spoke to others about my service, everyone had a bad experience with this particular branch. I’m not sure what their other services are like, but DO NOT go there if you’re wanting a wax, particularly intimate waxing. Terrible terrible terrible.

If you want excellent customer service DO NOT use this branch, these people do not care about customers! A day before lockdown i purchased an eyecream, it doesnt show expiry date on the box. I realized it is expiring after opening it. Couldnt return it immediately due to lockdown, when i did return it they made all sorts of excuses and argued with me! An apology for putting expiring products on the shelves would have been a start, then a how can we solve this?

This was my first experience at Sorbet Broadway and it was unpleasant. I had a gel manicure and it was not sealed off and it was uneven. It was not the standard I expected from a Sorbet outlet. Although the team did redo my nails free of charge and the nail tech did do a good job, I still will not go back to this branch.

The beauty therapist accidentally put the liquid adhesive in my eye.... It was red for a week. The owner didnt have the decency to apologize.

Appalling customer care - Gelish dip nails were inconsistent and the chrome effect washed off the next day as well as damaging the real nail and shape underneath - this was the SECOND set of nails as the first set were also incorrectly done and the foil effect washed off in the shower the next morning. The thickness of the gel was ridiculous and inconsistent with the other nails.The in-store manager and the actual owner haven’t bothered to get back to me regarding the workmanship and poorly done nails even after multiple calls asking for feedback. Happy to take customers money but not happy to deal with complaints. Worse customer care service I’ve ever experienced and highly advise not to use this sorbet branch, an absolute let down of the Sorbet name.

First time visit. Very professional staff, dedicated to get ths job done. But lacking welcoming atmosphere and simple smile.

Most unfriendly staff!‘They just can’t wait to get you out of there...NO people skills whatsoever!Wasn’t even offered a glass of water!I had a Gelish overlay from someone that is apparently very experienced... First nail lifted the next morning as I boarded my holiday boat cruise!Messy paint job into ridges of my nails and attached to my skin. I complained immediately with a half assed attempt from the nail tech to try fix it once it’s to late! Lets not even mention how irritated she got about my complaint.I got so annoyed with the overall attitude and the lack of skills, I actually just wanted to get out of there!I was away for a week, had to get back home to Johannesburg from Durban, settle my 3 kids and sort my life out.By the time I complained the manager was beyond dismissive, defending the EXPERIENCED nail tech all the way.I finally sent the pics I took of my nails and the peeling... That was a week ago and I got completely ignored!Not even a sorry!I’m not surprised that they were the ONLY Sorbet of 4 that I called in close proximity that could help on short notice... I now know why!Disgusted client!!!
