This place is huge and beautiful. The entire experience was all amazing 😃 also the event that I went to was just amazing and impactful in my life.

Neat and cozy but parking at times gets tight

Massive venue that accommodates all kinds of functions.

Situated at the North beach, has neat rest rooms and good reception area. The centre can hold give or take 2000 people and has ample space for dining and all facilities are maintained very well

Do not use this as a conference venue. Terrible parking situation, no air-conditioning, horrible location.

Convention centre with all the necessities required for a conference. It is located within the center of Durban and easily accessible by public and private transport. The centre is also within close proximity to hotels.They offered everything we required for our conference. The only disappointment was the lack of filter coffee. As a mitigation they offered instant coffee and tea throughout the day.

Awesome service from the Indian female F&B Manager who assisted us on the day (Apologies for not getting your name). Had a vegan and vegetarian lunch specially prepared for us when the buffet ran out.Conference was well organised and well attended. Ample seating in the amphitheater with great sound quality. Would definitely recommend the venue for a small to medium event.

Great venue for events

A very convenient conference place for meetings as well as for family gatherings. The parking is convenient and the venue is easy to find. The food is very good! Staff and service is excellent too.

Spacious venue but not really clean. Dirt is visible on floors toilets ceiling stains etc. The food is nice but I think they can do better by concentrating on the finer detailsI attended the KZN Climate Change Summit

Great conversation center but behind the scenes not maintained very well, take it from a contractor

Very nice convention center. Very good overall for a big audience. I liked the shuttle service as well. One downside was the toilets close to the ice rink.

Good place but the security guard does not keep an eye to the people who need parking inside the premises. I came de and I sounded the hooter on the Somteu Road entrance for more than 5 min but there was no one to open the gate for me. Miraculously, I turned around the corner and found another open entrance.

Was pleasantly surprised with the OCC. What a great venue to host functions up to 1999 pax. Weddings, small concerts, etc.

Beautiful and neat, spacious and in a good working area. Good service from staff and nice atmosphere.

First time visiting the Olive Convention Center. Set up is well thought of. The only con is that extra parking is located at the ball park but at least the centre offers a shuttle

The venue is big and the staff is helpful, I lost a bag and they found it and I was able to get it back.

Went to the ice rink.. Was awesome

The olive convention center can surely be considered with some controversy. The convention area looks very nive and seems to be run very well. My issues stem from the other buisness run in the same building. Namely the ice rink. The ice rink could offer much more potential than just a lousy glob of rubbery ice. The ice itself does not reach the boards due to budget, the ice is rubbery, uneven and poorly kept. Because there is a hole between the ice and boards this makes it unsafe for anyone seeking to use the ice. Management does not seem to care about maintaining it. All in all I would never get on that ice.

Limitation of parking bays is annoying. Dont feel comfortable attending conferences at this centre due to being uneasy about the fact of my vehicle being parked without of the premises.

Great conference centre, theres a amphitheatre located here. Come here for great events and functions. Not a lot of parking but bring the kids with to go for some ice skating. Very close to the Durban ICC, the Hilton and the beach. Enjoy meals from local restaurants or fast food places. Theres a bottle store loacted here with a spar.
