I visited this branch last week. The people who work here are beyond inefficient, the lady heard my request and said she could not help me I would need to call Home Affairs Customer Service. I did try to call Home Affairs, I was on hold for an hour and nobody picked up. I emailed them- no reply. Trying to apply for a new passport as my old one expired- Ive followed all the steps, Ive registered but the minute I try to fill out the application it wont let me. I have tried two laptops and a phone and have unlimited WIFI, to no avail. This is the most unhelpful branch Ive been to, highly inefficient staff for such a reputable bank as Standard Bank its very disappointing to experience. The home affairs department at this branch is pathetic. I will never recommend anyone using this department to get there ids. It cost R400 + another R1000. Going up and down to collect the Id as they are always off line. Rather go the normal Avenue is quicker.

The home affairs department is unbelievably pathetic. Forever offline. Unfriendly and unhelpful staff. Ive visited this branch 4 times just to pick up my passport and Im still unsuccessful. Very unsatisfied with the service recieved. Pathetic.

Utterly frustrated Standard bank didnt disappoint me with their sub standard service. I experience it on each moneygram visit to the bank. The transaction is always over 30min. On 6 January I went to collect moneygram at westville branch and I was told they were offline. On 6th I called same branch to check if they had come back online but was on hold for 8min till I cut off. On 8th I went to the same branch and I was told that moneygram tellers were on leave for 3 weeks so I should go to another branch for the service. On 9 January I went to Pavilion mall branch. For a change service was better. Didnt have to manually fill in the form. I hope they do something about either the service or the communication. 😡😡

The best service ever as well as incredibly friendly staff. The Home Affairs division is excellent! There’s a lady there named Bongile / Bongisiwe and she is such a hard a hard working and helpful individual.

Ive been trying to get hold of Standard Bank Kingsmead now fir 2 days. Every time I phone I get the call center and homd hold for 35min on my cell phone. All I want to know is when is the next date available for ID APPOINTMENT. NO LUCK

I am trying to get whole of the kingsmead branch to find out if they open for IdMy husband applied before lockdown he was due to do his verification on the 01april and was U able to do so . Payment was done . Home affairs sent a a message stating that he has only120 days to do .his payment will be forfeited . We have no joy what so ever . Home affairs lines are not going through too.

Bad service, the security is very rude and they could not assist me with the help that I need.... Im very disappointed with Standard bank, Im even thinking of moving my account to another bank.... Poor service

Awesome app makes travelling so much easier but u need to add more features like speed limit exceeded lol etc etc..that would be awesome. My Nokia had a navigator that had what some would call humour was cool. Anyways keep up the good work guys.
