Good place for Thai-food, staff are a little standoffish but make up for it with the food :)

Extremely slow service, waited 50 minutes and did not receive my order, staff looked confused.Very cramped service area.Witnessed a kid walk into the kitchen.

Good noodles at a better price than simply Asia, the waiting time was better as well. The seating arrangement is a little uncomfortable cause the staff are right there watching you and if the menu could specify the type of noodles that would be a great plus

The service from the owner and staff was great and they were kind,funny and super friendly!,The meals i ordered took less than 15 minutes to prepare.Their food is delicious and well presented,the ‘tokyo’ beef was one of the best meals I’ve tried so far, great taste,Just the right spices were added,lovely aroma and the meat was soft and tender.Really impressed as their food keeps improving in taste,will definitely be visiting this amazing spot frequently!thank you flamin’ wok keep up the great food and service!

Its not often you find a place that makes you want to eat their food every night. Everything from the veg to the noodles is perfectly cooked and seasoned. I dont even live close to them but Id make the drive down the hill for their food any day.

Food was good. Didnt wait long for the food either, considering they were busy. They definitely to provide more seating.

Avoid at all costs. Incompetent staff, long wait, and even if cancel you have to pay as they dont have change. Allowed two customers, unmasked into the kitchen. Horrible.

Food was really good and reasonably priced

My Mrs was wanting Chinese food and flamin wok was recommended. We ordered the Bangkok beef. The lady with that was handling the wok is good. Definitely our next stop when back in durban.

A great take on stir fries and soups. Every menu item is delicious and the portions are adequate. Speed of service is good as well. You get a choice of chilli level to your taste. Fresh ingredients really make the difference in their products. If youre a thai food fan this place is well worth the visit. Also situated in a cool trendy area that offers good seating and other good multi food options.

Ordered spring rolls and got deep fried pastry instead. Little to no filling. R45 for this... Such a rip off and over priced

Terrible service. This will be the first and last time I visit this joint. Waiting over 45min for my order which is still not ready. There are many other dissatisfied customers who have been waiting for over 1 1/2 hours. Very disappointing and pathetic service.

Wow cant believe this place doesnt have 5 star. Just had the Tokyo (noodles) and Beijing (rice). AMAZING.

So disappointed. First time we ordered food was excellent. This round noodles were dry. No sauce at all. Asked for hot but was absolutely mild 😭

Finally got to try flamin wok today which made me regret not trying them sooner.The staff was welcoming always smiling ,She understood my order even though i gave specific add onns to my meal,The service was great my food was ready in no time which added more time to my lunch break !.My meal was full of colour and flavor, freshly made. I had taken the Bangkok beef,i would recommend this dish.The atmosphere was amazing ,i really like the vibe around and inn the restaurant itself,Would definitely visit them often !

They had no broccoli and no cauliflower @ 11am..... When does the veggie delivery person arrive. I was dissapointed but I agreed to have carrots mushrooms, peppers ND cabbage instead. Tasted amazing welldone to the lady with the wok in her hand.

I really like the noodles. Lots of options and cheap, but service is bad. Meant as a takeaway counter, my food took over 30m as there was just 1 guy making each dish, one by one. Tasty tho

So we paid, waited an hour and after 5 people who ordered after us got their food, we inquired about our meals to the women who took our order. She then looked rather shocked and told us that it would be another 30min. We insisted for a refund and left instead. Not to mention the countless beggars who kept harassing us for money while we waited and one of them actually even started arguing with the owner about money he owed him. Definitely wont be going back!

Bought Hong Kong noodles yesterday. The both boxes of noodles was completely dried out & had thick pieces of raw tomatoes..Never saw noodles prepared in this way before.There is no one watching the staff prepare the food. Its unsupervised.the lady who answered the phone was disinterested as well

No seating area for a restaurant type menu, highly inconvenient for us joburgers. In a very inconvenient location as well, parking is very squeezed. When I visited in june there was an accident in parking lot due to people driving under the influence and before I could order, a car was stolen in front of us. If they change location maybe i might try the food.

Highly recommend this food outlet..friendly staff and quick service..enjoyed my tokyo beef noodle all so yummy. The owner his super cool and interact so friendly with all his customers..great atmosphere..i will definitly go back.

The owner is extremely rude and the food takes in excess of an hour to come. I wouldn’t recommend anyone the displeasure of going to this place and having to put up with the owner and his attitude.

I tried Flamin Wok for the first time yesterday and it totally exceeded my taste expectations. I ordered the Sweetcorn Fritters and Tokyo noodles. It was absolutely delicious.I would highly recommend Flamin Wok to anyone who has not tried it.Well done Team Flamin Wok. Keep up the awesome work!

My partner and I tried the Flamin Wok for the first time today! The service from a gentleman who I assume is the owner was great and super friendly! He allowed us to make slight variations to the stir fry by swopping out certain ingredients to our liking . The Tokyo stir fry was amazing !!! The meals we ordered took less than 12 minutes to prepare and the boxed presentation for take away was pretty impressive . Definitely gives Simply Asia a run for their money and we will definitely be frequenting this spot ! Thank u Flamin Wok and keep up the great standard!!!

The staff are unhelpful and unenthusiastic to work. The kitchen is absolutely filthy for a place that allows you to watch in full view as they cook!!Very disturbing.

Staff were apathetic and borderline rude - ignoring us to have a fat chat to their buddies behind the counter. Customers certainly aren’t a top priority here. We ordered Phuket noodles which are advertised as having cashews, and they came with peanuts. Pretty disappointing.

The food is ok...nothing fantastic or out of this world. I have seen the cook prepare so many customers meals there yesterday afternoon 12.05.2019 and he is both inconsistent in the ingredients he puts into the wok as well as abit shaky when handling the wok and preparing the meal. I mean he knows what hes doing but he doesnt have that smoothness like the original Thai guys at Simply Asia. The meal we bought was a noodle dish and a rice dish. Taste and flavour was there I agree but not enough of it. Was abit dry to say the least. Id rather pay abit more and go to Simply Asia. Sorry but thats just how I feel.

Food is tasty however it is very inconsistent. You have to double check your order before leaving the store as they often make mistakes.
