San Francisco flats are close to amenities, most things I like are within walking distance. Restaurants, grocery stores, the beach, etc. The street looks decent. Unfortunately, its a bit rowdy and loud in that area so not suitable for long-term stay if you like peace and quiet. Its also very close to Ushaka Marine world. I think there are a lot of students in the area during school season. During peak season, this area is highly populated and unpleasant.
