ALWAYS good to find a masjid on ones travels. Was a beautiful structure and trimmings inside. Felt spiritual. One draw back was they said their was no female area. So my wife had to wait for me.

It is a very sacred.Shrine of SUFI SAB near Riverside , a place where. Muslim scholars and.learned.elders meet to.pray and to teach to visit the shrine to meditate. Pray ,is.an experience u never forget .all welcome Allah loves all the creation.

One of the oldest heritage sites in Durban. Must visit if youre in the area. Very well kept, clean and great atmosphere. Great spiritual experience too. Must experience a Jummah here. But go early, as it gets full. May ALLAH reward the trustees and staff for preserving this Great Islamic Heritage site. AMEEN

The masjid is nice and quiet.

A place to experience a heightened spiritual awareness. At the shrine is burial place of Soofie Saab and his mother.The site has a wheelchair ramp and lift for the handicapped.It has been made easier to access recently, but remains a little elusive to find the entrance.

I always go here when I want to pray for any given special occasion but I find the patience and respect of people using the facility is sorely lacking. Whilst we are paying our respects and praying men shove themselves in front of us to touch the kabars. Other people refuse to move out of the way when they are done their turn or stand and talk in front of the kari sahaab whilst he is in dua. If it wasnt so difficult getting to the Durban mazaar that would be my first choice even though its not right saying it. I go to Riverside seeking spritual fulfilment but most often leave frustrated. 😐
