The place needs a bit of love and care on the outside yet once inside its actually very nice, buffet style lunch was average and quite ordinary, a few Indian dishes did stand out but nothing outstanding.

A wide variety of excellent Indian cuisine. All prepared well and tasty. The veg selection was divine. All my guests enjoyed the food from starters to desserts. The venue went above board with covid compliance. Every guest was sanitised and provided with a new glove when entering the food area. All my guests felt safe and were happy with the measures taken. Thank you to Jaipur staff for making our celebration so fun and memorable. Excellent value offered with competitive prices. And they have private venues as well that can be hired. The shop had great specials on handbags, clutches and wallets. We all purchased as the offers were too good too miss 😍

We love this restaurant. No holiday in Durban is complete unless we eat here. Just thinking about the variety of dishes served on buffet makes my mouth salivate and stomach growl with hunger.This is typical Durban Indian cuisine, close to the beach front, children-friendly, with a take-away on the premises.Going in a group makes the dining experience all the more delicious.Best to make a reservation to avoid disappointment.

Most consistent and best tasting beans bunny chow in the land. Also convenient that the takeaway (which has a great eat in area) is open until 9pm.

Indian Cuisine has never tasted better! Different curries both chicken and vegetables, however the dessert corner could have a bit more of a variety.Jaipur Palace has strict COVID protocols which did relieve our stress to go out for the first time in public. The atmosphere is pleasant and really authentic. Their dinner buffets starts from 17.30pm onwards to around 20.00pm and two glasses of Cooldrink with your meals. Its our favorite Indian restaurant😌

Great food , great variety and brilliant service.A lot better value for money than another popular Durban beachfront establishment offering Sunday Buffet lunches.Some building and decor refurbishments coupled with a change in background music would make Jaipur Palace a 5 star dining establishment.

A flavor for every customer. Our waiter attended to our needs. We had mild chicken curry, mild mutton curry, with garlic Naan and basmati rice. Well worth a visit.

Used to be a must visit Indian buffet.Over the years the menu has remained mediocre but food is tasty nonetheless. The place needs a revamp as the interior design looks dull but covid has left a dent to many businesses like this. For R179 eat as much as you like you can make the most out of your money.

What an amazing experience...I arranged my matric class of 89 reunion for 50 people... We were given the Jaipur room... Food was the best & the widest of selections, waiter was extremely helpful as well as the manager Nitraj went out of his way to accommodate our every need...highly recommended the venue for functions as well as just a buffet meal which costs R199 per person but can eat as much as you like from every variety of foods...

The buffet menu isnt what it used to be.My family always support the restaurant.There is also a take away section available.Buffet is R170 per person. Get 2 free cool drinks then pay afterwards for additional beverages.Staff is always friendly and very helpful.I must say that I was very much impressed with the covid protocols and standards in place. They give you gloves when touching utensils etc.

Good food, ambience and best Indian cuisine ! The restaurant has both buffet and a-la-carte options in the evening. Buffet has variety of options for vegetarian and non-vegeterian arranged separately. Also desserts are delicious and variety everyday. Nice ambience of palace gives feeling of India. Ordered from the take out yesterday. Food was absolutely horrible, we normally love the food from here but yesterday our bunny bread was yeasty and old and inside the bunny was slimmy.Furthermore after eating my family had all thrown up all the food. One of the worst take out experiences we have ever had

I visited this venue after many years to meet friends for lunch. The venue is still the same. The lunch buffet was lovely and had a variety of dishes that were delicious. The service was a bit slow but nothing to complain about if you were there for a relaxed luncheon. The venue has lovely views of the ocean and the price of the buffet was very good.

I bought take out, service was good. I phoned and placed my order and it was ready wen I arrived to fetch it. Staff was friendly as well.

Beautiful clean and lavish restaurant in lovely surroundings situated in Durban North.This is where you go if you are in the mood for curry.Charging R175 for buffet including two glasses of soft drinks which is really not a bad deal if one can tolerate deep fried bits and lots of curry choices all the way from Mutton, tripe, trotter, mushroom and pea etc, etc.For the smaller appetite, there is a menu to choose from.Not a place if you have someone that enjoys salads and food that is not deep fried, but then it is not meant to be.Little electronic bells on the tables ensures attention from the waitrons immediately.There is even a take away if you do not feel like a proper sit down meal.

Great Indian food. A la carte, and extensive buffet with many choices for vegetarians too. Lots of parking. Conveniently located in Durban North,near Hypermarket. You can also hire a function room for a birthday party or even for a reception. Great friendly service.

Sad to see what was a great establishment drop its standards- the exterior of the building looks untidy and is showing its age.- the place is untidy, worn out and bathrooms smell and are always wet or out of order- there are worn out paper notices/ warnings stuck everywhere- the food has become average-not recommended anymore

Authentic Indian buffet with a wide range of curries and grills. The price is affordable and the family old and young enjoy the delicious variety they have to offer. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is also a bar for those who like to have a drink before they dig in to all that deliciousness. This is one of those you just cant judge by its cover.. you gotta try it for yourself.

Came here expecting to have a great experience. I was totally disappointed. The atmosphere was really not my thing. The food was not good at all. Maybe I enjoyed 1 item which is why I gave it 2 stars. But the rest was not good. From what i hear this place was the best! Please bring Back that standard then maybe I would come back.

Consistency is key to a great buffet establishment and this place falls short of great because of a lack of consistency. Attention to freshness and taste is required to make this one of the best buffets in Durban. Not that there are many good buffets in Durban.

The buffet had a good variety for the price. Tasty meals. Friendly staff. Neat and clean environment. Organised.

Many curries and options at the buffet but lacking in great taste. Put a special effort in 4 or 5 of the dishes that will make up for the others and ppl will appreciate it. We understand that the buffet is s lot of work for the chefs but stand out from every other buffet that has 100 dishes and all of them are just average.

The place is very clean and has a very good set up. They even have a room for families with kids, so you can either sit in a generally noisy area, or a nice quiet area on the restaurant. The good selection is really great, and it was tasty. I was very surprised with the food they had on the buffet. We had a friendly waiter. All in all, a good experience.

Food is not as great as it used to be and not as large a variety as they had previously. Staff were accommodating. I had a percentage off the bill because it was my birthday and that was nice because we had a table of more than 10. Thank you.
