Excellently run hospital with ample safe parking & very clean

Amazing service. Great, Kind, attentive nurses and Dr. Lander was exceptionally helpful.Very grateful for such great service.

Day shift nurses were so disorganized on pediatric ward, no orientation or whatsoever. Even the meds, no explanation you have to keep asking and asking.wow,the night staff is amazing so professional and friendly,Dr Chetty is the best.Victoria hospital is the one Id recommend.

Great service and the care I got from the sisters was best, I would recommend it any time.

Overall good experience aside from the first day. The food was great, the doctor was brilliant but the evening nurses... not so great. :(I would recommend this hospital, but just be weary if you have to stay overnight. Make sure you know what medication you need to be taking. Otherwise, its a great place to go.

My brother was in netcare ballito hospital surgical ward with covid patients name Rajendran naicker amazing how they looked after him and gave us a feedback. Recall sister rose and sister Nicky and all the staff on the floor well done.

The emergency unit is great. Efficient and effective. Both doctors and staff there were great. The ICU on the other hand... is just anything goes. They don’t even check your relationship with the person you’re visiting, so people (who aren’t close family) can stroll in and out of there at will. They didn’t seem to be in sync with each other. Day staff would do one thing and night staff would do the opposite. Doctors also contradicted each other. It was a mess.

Went in for Knee surgery. From reception to porter to nursing stall were excellent. After surgery I was taken to the surgical ward. The nursing staff and the kitchen staff were excellent. They made us feel so comfortable and always doing it with a smile.

Amazing hospital, incredible care.

To whom it may concernMy mum was admitted to the ballito netcare hospital on the 26 july 2020.She was admitted due to her pressure been high, she had passed out during the day at 1600pm on 26 july, so we rushed my mum to hospital.Upon arriving at the hospital, at 1710pm, the nurse greeting us did a screening before my mum was taking inside the hospital to the emergency ward.Before they took my mum inside, we asked or suggested to the nurse assisting the nurse outside who did the screening to please check the bed were my mum would be at in the emergency ward ( due to covid-19), we asked to double check if its clean and sanitised properly, we got a giggle and a laugh that all is good and they do all possible to ensure safety.● So would a suggestion just to double check or walk to the bed to crosscheck all is safe and secure a joke or a good laugh.?Thats only the nurses will know.We waited at least 6 hours and 30 minutes, outside in the parking lot as we were not allowed in the hospital (understandable due to covid-19 related issues and protocol).Reason for the wait, there was no beds and the staff was making a plan for a bed, rearranging the wards to accomodate my mum.Fine we accepted the feedback and waited, we asked more than 5 times from 1900pm to 2300pm about the bed if they had got a bed, the feedback we got from nurses and doctors was the staff are cleaning the ward, and they making a plan.

My 69 year old mother who stays in Kranskop got sick on the 11th of July 2020 I called an ambulance to go and fetch her from home as I stay in Amanzimtoti I drove from Amanzimtoti to Ballito to meet the ambulance with my mother it was after 21h00 when the ambulance came ,they treated my mother like a queen thanks to the Abarlito night staff in casualty I am very pleased the doctor on call was super caring in this trying times . Alberlito you are wonderfull thank you ever so much.

Fantastic experience under the circumstances.Had to take mom to emergency room.From the minute we walked in could not have asked for better care.Communication great. Wonderful staff.Being form out of town we really think the visiting hours 11am to 8pm are a brilliant idea.

Im not trying to talk bad about this hospital but unfortunately I cannot recommend it to anyone. The treatment from other staff members to the kitchen staff is pathetic. Kitchen staff come and drop food below the bed and leave even without waking you up as a patient. You make an order and wrong or incomplete food is delivered. I feel even the hospital staff is short staffed.

Shocking service. Staff absolutely dont care about you and are happy to make you wait until they feel like dealing with you.

Poor service from nursing staff but doctors are excellent

My dad was in ICU for 10 days and general for 2. The staff were fantastic. They were caring and thorough, from the specialists to the nurses. Thank you!

Thanks to all the staff they gave me the food was great I can not complain.

The hospital is great. The only complaint or suggestion is if you get a member of SAPS in the same ròom as you, GET OUT/FORCE DISCHARGE yourself or pay for a PRIVATE ROOM as you will never get to rest/sleep. They dont bother with the visiting hours for SAPS

Clean, caring, efficient, friendly - everything you would want in a hospital. Internet is very fast too!

Nearly an our waiting in casualty. Left without any assistance with a bleeding wound.

I hate rating badly, but if i could rate it 0 stars i would!!!!!!!From blood in labor ward (not mine) and faulty equipment, to being admitted for wrong proceedure and wrong dr thank goodness i read my file before surgery, had to tell nurse more than once i think they made a mistake before she called someone else to talk to me!! To case managers who dont update admissions causing massive issues with medical aid payments going on 2 months now!!! Dont even bother conplaining to day or night managers you are just wasting your breath, they will not get back to you. Only time someone actually called me was after i told my dr, who then complained to hospital!!!

The complete and utter incompetence is shocking. My baby is in paed ward with fever, the eoom temperature is 27’C. I have complained numerous time and still nothing is being done. I am also now sweating and my baby cannot sleep due to being uncomfortable in this heat. The night “nurse” doesnt know how the machines work or how to take her temperature. Pathetic!!!

Some of these doctors are more like nurses/interns. Had the unfortunate experience recently and had to be booked into outpatients, only to be told by Dr Mthembu that I should go to my Dr who had previously treated me - And to think I had to pay R2000 for that piece of useless info!

Compliments to the staff at the ER. Best service and even better people. Some other hospitals can learn from you

Alberlito takes forever to answer and then i got put through to the accounts department and they EVENTUALLY answered 5mins later.

From the various visits I’ve had to the hospital, I’ve been underwhelmed every time, from the obscenely priced canteen to having patient files end up in different departments, and not nurses being unable to effectively insert drips, it needs some work in general I’m multiple aspects

Good hospital rooms but management is careless on cleanliness. Drs gives medical report on the corridor walking some where else, no care, never visited my room.

I have made 3 calls to the hospital at the numer on the website and no one answers.
