Beautiful classy country-style venue. Rather expensive though! Great food, ambiance, & other little cafes for nick nacks.

Great venue situated on the dolphin coast. Service is good as well as the food selection. I had eggs Benedict which was well presented but I feel that some of the prices may need reviewing because no where should a lemon poppyseed muffin cost R65.00. All in all I will definitely be back.

My family loved it,atmosphere was welcoming. I loved the furniture shop.kids really enjoyed the play area and the scratch patch.

We had a business breakfast here at Sage and enjoyed everything. The food was tops, the setting perfect and relaxed. Definitely a place you can take your family. Lots of little shops to visit and a kiddies play area. I like the tranquil setting. Will definitely be back sometime. The only thing negative was that one person out of nine waited very long for food. But it was very good at the end.

Lovely food, great service, staff willing to accommodate customers according to their needs. Well done to management for empowering their team. We also had a good pampered experience at the mini spa too🤗loved our pedicures 👍

A wonderful place to go with my toddler.Food was great with big portions and the peanut butter banana milkshake is my favourite. Got my little one Mac & cheese which he loved.There is a really nice play area for kids with jungle gyms, swings a sandpit but we specifically went for the scratch patch. Kept my 19 month old entertained for nearly an hour and he was upset we had to leave.Will definitely have to go back for a lunch soon.

The cafe is located within a garden setting with beautiful scenery and a tranquil atmosphere. They have a menu with great variety and amiable staff.

Pitstop at #sagecafe in @sagecentre situated near @thelitchiorchard. Got to enjoy a frappe & a milkshake for +- 80bucks while we relaxed in this beautiful outdoor garden like setting. It was a chilled vibe & they offer free wifi. Absolutely loved it.

Had a delicious lunch at Sage today. Staff very helpful and found a table for us so we could keep an eye on our little one. He had fun and we had our lunch. The monkeys are a bit disconcerting. Some children attempted to feed them which does not auger well.

Ideal place with more than one eating outlet to go with children as there are various play areas for entertainment

Lovely relaxed atmosphere, very friendly efficient staff. Cappuccino was yummy as were the scones with jam and cream. What I really loved most was the airy openness and all the natural greenery around. Worth a visit with kiddies too as there is a lovely playground and an art shop where they can do various activities. Will definitely be back.

Food is wholesome and fresh, outdoor setting gives through a good vibes, but I think the prices are a bit too high for the quantity received. At the end the feeling I left with was “very nice but was it worth it?”

Was looking so forward to having lunch at Sage Cafe but unfortunately it was a real let down. Service was generally slow but the chilled atmosphere made up for it. However what was meant to be a enjoyable Mother’s Day for a table of 9 pax, all those who had the daily roast was served cold food to the point that even the gravy was congealed. Doubt we will be rushing back there anytime soon. Definitely not a value for money experience!

Sage will never let you down

It was wonderful and quiet. Our server was very sweet and hospitable. I had the vegetarian bagel which was tasty but my actual bagel was quite stale.

Nice place for kids to play when you feel like an outing on a overcast day. Food was average. Not great and not bad.

Terrible experience. Pizza dough was raw. Chips were old and stale as well as old salad.

My fish was very good but at R28 I expect better quality orange juice than the rubbish I was served. Liquifruit is better and my girls mac and cheese was off

Excellent food, an amazing spot for the kids to play! Mine were lost in the scratch patch for atleast 30 minutes - peace! Little boutique stores are wonderful to walk through and best of all is that its perfectly situated for the litchi farm next door which holds the occasional market and just up the road is Ballito bicycles with its own little area for kids and food etc. If you are ever in the area, i strongly suggest making the most of this place and stop for a bite to eat.

Our lunch was served cold and 10 minutes apart for the 5 people at our table. The hake was so burnt and crisp, it was inedible. The hake was replaced with salmon as they had run out of hake. The salmon arriver 10 minutes later and looked fine. When cutting open the salmon it we seared on the outside, but frozen solid in the inside. Sage has been our most favorite place to visit during our holidays, however we will be finding a new location to meet up with friends going forward.

A great coffee shop with excellent coffee, freshly baked goodies & extremely good food. This is a day restaurant and is very children friendly with a huge playing area. The restaurant caters for childrens functions & birthday parties. During week mornings it is very quit & relaxing. There are seating areas inside & outside under the trees & there is shops selling clothes, gifts etc around the outside area. The restaurant is just outside the Litchi Orchard which is situated in an open area with beautiful trees & greenery. This remains one of my favourite coffee shops

If you have small children, youre going to want to rest your weary feet at Sage. The play area has attendants which mean that you as parent can sit back, enjoy a freshly squeezed juice, and watch your child play. There are many tables that surround the play area so you can keep an eye. As far as the menu is concerned, the prices are good and the quality is great. There is a great kiddies menu and plenty of high chairs for those who still toddle. Sage is nestled inside a little community of artisan shops and you have a good chance of picking up a unique, local, handmade item. From lotions and fragrances right through to clothing and furniture, this location has it all.

Went for lunch with some friends. Food was really great. I had the homemade blueberry lemonade and the eggplant bake. I would definitely recommend if youre visiting or if you live there. The staff and waiters were very friendly and helpful. We sat in the outdoor area which was really nicely decorated and we were even offered blankets which Im sure would be needed in the coming colder months.

Awesome cafe

We came here in a busy time. There was no seating list that scheduled customers for tables in the order they came in. After 30 minutes of waiting to be seated, we had counted 4 other tables seated and assisted that came after us. Eventually we were seated in the sun at another restaurant when sage promised to serve us... Which ended in us not even getting menus. They are not able to handle high volumes of customers. Rather avoid at all costs in a busy season. We would have saved an hour of time if they simply directed us away.

Awesome Fun for all ages...

Thoroughly enjoyed our meals and general relaxed atmosphere of the cafe and surrounding shops. Next time you feel like a meander, do a north coast meander instead of midlands. Do try the craft beer at Sage and their cranberry and brie samoosas delicious. Stand out dish for me was the aubergine rissoles ... even though I am not a vegetarian, both were outstanding.
