In our last car service in 2nd June 2021, we asked for the tyres to be checked as we noticed tyre wear patterns, of which the front ones were found to be worn out. Since VW Ballito doesnt sell tyres, we collected our car in that state.However, when we replaced the tyres at the mechanics, they said that one other tyre had been worn out as well seemingly due to Wheel Alignment not performed on the day of our service.

Recently did my 75000km service and Brandon Govender from Service department outdid himself with the service he gave, my car stayed overnight for some extra repairs but came back the following day in tip top condition. They were short on Loan/Courtesy cars which meant having to organize my transport because the car was staying but service was excellent and car is in great shape

Ballito is at least 40kms away from the closest VW Dealership, but their service is unmatched. had a comfortable cubicle to work from while the service was carried out, test drove their e-golf, which was an amazing and unique experience, and received my car squeaky clean once it was done. Great service, friendly staff and well appointed establishment

Had a problem with my car after it was serviced. Called vw and the service advisor Chanel was very helpful in getting my car into workshop to be checked and repaired. She did her best from her side and she is very efficient in her work. There is room for improvement for the workshop as I had to wait almost 4 hours for the problem to be identified and repaired and only to find out it was a faulty set of plugs fitted in the service.

The service and covid protocol at ballito vw was excellent. The staff was so friendly and made me feel so comfortable and safe at the same time. I was notified on everything every step of the way. I would truly recommend others to visit their branch and most importantly they managed to solve all of my problems.

Worse customer experience ever. I was interested in buying a Vw Polo Tsi and Ballito VW offered me R12 000 less on my settlement for my trade in car but I was referred to another buyer by the salesman to sell my car. I sent my relevant documents through and was approved for the car. I sold my car and made contact with the salesmen(Mike Bako) to finalise my application and take delivery of my car but I was advised that the car I was interested in buying was involved in an accident and there was structural damage to the car and he could not sell the car to me. He then offered me another car with a higher mileage and to make up for the disappointment he was going to give me FREE smash and grab. Something did not seem right and I contacted Sipho who is the used car sales manager. Sipho advised that the car was actually sold and there was no structural damage to the car. Sipho admitted that I was lied too by Mike Bako. I am so irate and disgruntled because I sold my car and then I was lied too and could not get the car I wanted. Sipho did arrange for another car with another dealership but it does make anything better because 9 days later and I still dont have a car because of lies, deception and greed.

Maybe I’m the unlucky person but my experience with VW Ballito is not good at all. In January I took my car for service with them, three days later it started misfiring went there they booked it In for another service in one week, mind you I mentioned to them the car takes time to stop no matter how hard I applied the brake and was not accelerating to more than 80km/hr,I had to drive it anyway I had no choice. The next day I was stuck in the middle of the highway cos gears were not functional. Then I had to wait from 16:30-19:30 for tow truck,had no lift back to my place so I had to call a friend to come fetch me, was also not given car to use while my car was still with them..Two days ago I went there to change brake pads, I was told to change the whole thing including the disc. Payed for the parts and was told they only gonna be available in three week that’s end life October. So I was advised to avoid long trips since It is no longer safe to use the car and it might damage something else,when I told the lady I have to go somewhere Far for an interview next Week she said I can still use It cos TAXI DRIVERS use cars with damaged brake pads or disc so it’s nothing serious.She further said I can borrow a car somewhere to use on that day.

I was very disappointed with the service received at ballito Volkswagen. I sent my car in for a service and they gave me a list of items that needed repair/replacement which included the wipers, coolant and back CV. Two days later I find out the hard way that my battery and shocks need replacing. Both of which were not picked up by the ballito technicians. Its absolutely ridiculous that I paid R2000 for them to tell me my wipers need replacing. And I find out that the mechanical parts need replacing after Im stranded at work.

Ever since I started servicing with Ballito VW I always get excellent service its been almost 3 years now and I have even posted on my social media Facebook and my friends have joined me in servicing with VW Ballito but last weak Tuesday the service I received from Chanel who is a service advisor was terrible made me miss my regular service advisor Frank who always go an extra mile. If this sort of behavior persist i will stop using VW Ballito like how I have done with VW Midbay due to bad service.

I have experienced excellence customer service offered by Nokulunga (service advisor) at your dealership. My car had a battery problem and was dropped at your dealership, Nokulunga kept me abreast with all developments on the vehicle repair service and when finally I collected my car, she was the best with all required information 👌and friendly. The service I received from Ballito VW was very good. The only disappointment was that my vehicle was not cleaned. I was advised that this was due to the washing of the vehicles being outsourced, and due to lockdown, this could not be done. However, our company vehicle was serviced by another dealership on the same day, and that vehicle came back sparkling clean. Having a clean vehicle after a service is something I look forward to, having paid a huge amount for the work done. Rather disappointing

I Purchased a pre-owned golf from the dealership just before lockdown in March 2020 and the vehicle had been parked in a garage until lockdown was eased. I subsequently took the vehicle for a wash and noticed a leak on the hood lining at back of the cabin. Like most people today I Googled the issue and found that this is common for this type of vehicle and the leak could be from the rear grommets. I then booked the vehicle in the next week, the VW team checked and concluded that it was the blocked sunroof drains that resulted in water seeping onto the hood lining.2 weeks later, the leak continued, the vehicle was booked in again and the VW team found that it was the rear grommet that was out of place which was causing the water to seem into the cabin. It took 3 days to find the leak and an additional 3 days to replace the grommets at a few thousand rands.The service of the staff were good but I think this could have been handled a lot differently and more efficiently.
