Very nice lodge. I liked their food. well prepared. the self catering chalet was the best. very neat and clean. the only problem I had was the directions to the lodge. the map direction provided is not clear, no description. management must work on getting the GPS coordinates.

We love tshikwalo lodge and restaurant. Always friendly and helpful. Food is amazing and worth the wait.

Was part of a group visiting, friendly well trained Rangers on game drives. We had a really good time, staying over 1 night. Best of all it is a short drive from Johannesburg

The food was stunning best mutton curry pie Ive ever had. So good I only remembered to take a pic after Id already started eating it. A really fantastic innovation is the use of boiling water to sterilize our utensils. Highly recommend. All covid rules and regulations observed.

Lovely experience. Saw 2 of the big 5 while driving. Ate at Tshikwa Lodge. Drove right in - nobody said anything about a pass. At the gate the staff kept asking where our pass was. Had to pay R210 for the pass when leaving.

The food was devine and the view on deck was beautiful. The only reason for my score was that the service at the restaurant is EXTREMELY slow. An average wait time of 40 min per item ordered. We got here at 12:05 ordered drinks. Got our drinks at 12:48. Then ordered our meals and second drinks. Got our meals 13:34 and our drinks 13:40. On an extreme hot day as it was the timing for the drinks was unexceptable the food taking longer is understandable but not so long. It wasnt even so busy there were 5 tables including ourselves.

Good service, friendly staff. The restaurant has a good viewing deck where you can enjoy your meals or drinks next to a watering hole. Occasional visits from Elephants as well as Cheetah. Would definitely recommend!

Delicious food!!! Such friendly staff!!! The duty Manager Ackim was so helpfil and friendly checking up on us and arranging a picnic for us. Our waiter Kagiso went the extra mile even joking along with us. Armand took us on an unforgettable game drive with coffee and snacks. If I could Id rate this place 15 out of 5. Great experience!! We copletely loved it!!!!

For two of our five days, we had construction noise during the day. If i knew that, i would postpone my weekend.

Menu is way too big and knew quality will be jeopardized. Pizza was very bad, bad base,cheeze and fetta. Malva pudding very dense,old and hard. Couldnt even cut through it with my spoon. The plastic protea flowers on the tables dont fit the space and bushveld at all.Lot of improvement to be done at the restaurant.

I never come here and not feel refreshed and thats mostly from lunch and a few hours of work I cant wait to book a bed and breakfast

Absolutely stunning game lodge, with a truly 5 star restaurant. The food dishes are world class, and the friendly staff make you feel like a real VIP. Excellent service and food, and accommodation at the lodge.

It was lovely to get out of the city. Its pity how dirty the surrounds are, yet the drive into the lodge are clean and well maintained!!!

Just sitting on the deck enjoying the view is worth the drive.

The restaurant is really stunning with the most beautiful view. However, the food is not up to standard for such a stunning place.

Food very good. Had a waiter 1st that had attitude but his replacement was excellent. Liked how our dissatisfaction with 1st waiter was handled. Will go again.

Service was a bit slow. Glass of water was not brought to the table (reminded the waiter twice). The cheese sauce for the kids chicken strips did not have cheese in it. Tasted like a basic white sauce. Apart from that, the food was very tasty. The milkshakes were thick and tasty as well.

Very very very poor quality food.They get the 1 star only because of the amazing view.The mulo chicken coxinha was initially served without any chicken in it.The lamb chops were way below average and not made to requirements.The van Wyk platter was horrid.The chicken tortilla wrap was just chicken and sweet chilli sauce.Definitely NOT a recommend here.
