What an incredible bush experience at Little Mongena tented camp. Wildlife roaming around your tent at night. The food was spectacular and the hospitality from Duncan even better. Our game ranger Herman was very knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you Duncan, Herman and Keenan for an unforgettable weekend. We hope to see you all soon.

Absolutely disgusting service. We made a booking for two tents on 17 August for Sat 21 August. We confirmed our booking on the morning of 19 August. Kids and everyone were very excited to go. Phoned an hour later to arrange our stay and then got told they can no longer accommodate us. Absolutely shocking!

Out of thousands of reviews Ive done on the map, this is my favourite. What an awesome place. Friendly staff, awesome location, great food and activities. Its an absolute must.We will definitely be back.

Very pleasantly surprised with the quality of service. Great atmosphere with some of the best staff who makes sure your every need is attended to. Also not forgetting the interesting game drives. Well worth the money and can recommend to anyone! Thank you to Duncan, Vincent and Simon just to name a few.

There are absolutely no words to describe how incredible this place is! It was our first time in Dinokeng and we will always come back to Little Mongena. The staff are all amazing from Duncan the GM to Herman our Game Ranger, Simon who served us dinner, and even Eugene the chef who we had to compliment in person because of how fantastic the food is! The tent is super clean, the whole experience was just amazing. It was our 6th anniversary and when we came back we found a special table by the lake for us prepared by Duncan, we were speechless of how attentive and thoughtful they are. we will definitely go back in winter and we cant wait to do so!

Exceptional service and food. What attention to detail. From Duncan the General Manager to Simon the extreamly energetic waiter and Vincent the Game driver with so fun activities on the drives. Defiantly a 5 star experience.

Little Mongena ...what a wonderful place. We had a wonderful and fulfilled weekend 12-15 Feb 2021. We had a Hot Air Baloon tripped booked that was cancelled by the pilot, and was very disappointed, but the fun and game drives we had made up for our diappointment.To Duncan the manager and his staff, thank you very much for making us feel so welcome. The food is absolutely a 10/10. Tents very well equipped and clean. The game drives was absolutely the best , Hendrik the Ranger really went out of his way to show us as much as possible even in the rain, his knowledge about birds,grass,trees,wild flowers and animals are fantastic and he is a pleasant person.Our overall experience at Little Mongena is a 10/10. Absolutely recommend. Accommodations were great, game drives were informative and interesting, the scenery is breathtaking, and the staff ensured a very welcoming and comfortable stay.Food was delicious and vegan friendly! Thank you Duncan, Simon, Zaan, Rita and Vincent, to name a few.

Great experience so close to the city, 10 mins after pulling in at the main lodge we were welcomed by Herman our guide, he quickly grabbed dour bags and took us to Little Mongena, where Duncan recieved us with welcome drinks, after a quick briefing we went to our tents , very nice ! We had a lovely snack and headed off to our game drive. Herman answered all our questions and was well informed, we enjoyed sundowners and headed back for dinner, dinner was amazing! We sat around the fire till right before lights out (10pm because they are currently running on a generator) woke up nice and early had coffee and headed out for our morning game drive, so nice to be in the bush! Had a coffee and some rusks and headed back to the lodge for breakfast.

The reception lady doesnt even know how to talk with very rude attitude. dont even think will enjoy the place there

Explorers little Mongena tented camp was absolutely fabulous. The food, game drives and the site itself was really great! The team at the little mongena were fantastic and always made sure we were comfortable and having a great time. Thank you for such an amazing experience and for making this celebration one to remember!

A little piece of tranquility and beauty a stones throw away from the city. The place is breathtaking, and the staff is just wonderful, we loved every minute!
