Affordable quality of products and great customer service from the tall guy who is always next to the entrance , they hardly bring new stock. Iv been going there for past 3weeks nothing new

Good morning. I just wanted to give you feedback with regards to the service levels at your JAM outlet in the new diepsloot mall Bambanani. The service is non existent. I was looking for my bra size which was impossible to find. I spent 15mins working my way through bras that was incorrectly merchandised as sizes were all over. Small sizes at the back and not in order. I would understand if it was un the late afternoon and the store was busy however i was in the store just before 10 am. No one came to assist there was one consultant that walked passed me as bras fell as i was looking for a correct size. I picked them up from the floor and put them back on the shelve. When i was ready to pay i went to the till point where another customer was served however the lady adsisting her looked less interested . There was no price tag on her garment and the cashier treated her like its her fault for taking a garment without a price. She called someone to come bring a price tag. A dress was scanned it was not even the same size as the one that the lady had purchased. I thought to myself there goes data intergrity for the store. I am sure this will mess up stock holdings as now i would assume the size that is meant to be wrang out is still reflecting on SOH. Well then it was my turn. Another lady by the name of patience assisted me. They were still discussing the other customer i am sure they assumed i dont understand their language as i know i look coloured. I was addressed in english. I then asked if i may leave feedback. The lady asked about what i said to her about the service levels in the store. She was very diffensive. I said to her its important to treat customers with respect as they dont know who they might be serving. It could be someone from head office. And i also envouraged them that i am sure that this is not a JAM service level as i have shopped at other JAM stores busier then the diepsloot branch and i always experienced great service. She then said i should have went into the office next to underwear section and asked for help. I saw she missed my point that i should not be asking for help as a customer. Especially if one could see that i am struggling in finding what i am looking for. I mean for a customer to start unpacking shelves surely that is evident enough to see that help is needed. As i walked away i could hear her discussing me with her collegue. I am sorry for writting this long message however i am very much passionate about retail and customer service. Especially in these hard economic times. Customers need to feel valued and respected. And people should understand why they are at work and truly add value to the organization they work for. It pains me to see retailers close down because of employees that tarnish the brands image.

My experience with the store in diepsloot was of the poorest, no customer service at all, stinky attitude from the staff. They just dont value customers like other JAM Stores from other branches.
