We attended the Open House Weekend in September. The Orchid greenhouse is open to the public with the addition of a couple of stalls for the wild flower season festivities. All things orchid for sale onsite including a large variety of potted orchids, orchid sprigs, potting bark etc. Be sure to have the pancakes made by a local church community they are a must. The nursery is usually open on the first Saturday of the month, be sure to check their website before visiting.

First Saturday of every month they open to the public for sales and some of the greenhouses are open to go walk through. Very nice excursion. They are open from 09:00 - 12:00.

What a beautiful experience this was! It was so wonderful to see all the varieties, beautiful colours and sizes Orchids come in. I had no idea there were so may types and how big they could get, taller than me! I would recommend this to anyone, the little road trip to Darling from Cape Town was totally worth it!

The 2020 Orchid Show was absolutely amazing! Well worth a trip to Darling.

Beautiful orchids!!! There were so many colours and varieties. Orchids being sold potted, stemmed or air bulbs. There were beautiful displays and helpful staff. This was a great way to end off our visit to Darling flower festival.

Marita was so friendly to open the nursery especially for us. And she was like an orchid. Beautiful, friendly and cordial.We were three couples - from Ohrigstad, Kroonstad and Pretoria. We enjoyed the tour and were in awe to see the orchids and the way it is packed for shipping overseas. And to learn about propagating new plants and new varieties.Time very well spent!

Wow, what an experience. This is not an experience you can go home and share with your friends, you definitely have to see it for yourself. Very organised and friendly, but the variety of orchards; mind blowing. Great experience, a must see.

I visited the farm last year 2016 and this is now my annual event, the show was outstanding and the experience of trying to choose plants among the many was wonderful.I left with a Isuzu bakkie loaded to the brim.
