A beautiful and challenging Parkrun!

Not the easiest run but if you want the views be prepared to climb the hill.

Nice small group. Friendly. The route is tough but with great views. Stats with 3 up hills. One a bit sandy. Then long down hill. Small up again. The rest down. last stretch is thick sand and a workout. Definitely feel like youve done some exercise.

Wow, what a tough parkrun but what a stunning view once youre at the top. Starting on farms with tough uphill start all the way up to windfarm turbines and then nice downhill, bit of sand. Really friendly volunteers, still rel small, so not crowded at all.

Up hill to the wind turbines! Challenging. Small field of runners is always nice so no bunching. Great Marshall.

This parkrun starts with a challenging and long uphill climb to the wind turbines. Pace yourself or you wont have the energy to take advantage of the long down hill though the farm to the finish. The soft sandy sections near the end can be difficult to run on but the rest of the course is hard dirt roads and paths.

Visited this parkrun as part of my parkrun tourist journey. Beautiful route. It was overwhelming to be close to the turbines

For those doing the parkrun challenge, this is the only “Y” in SA! And they certainly my make you earn it, with hill after hill!

Beautiful setting. TOUGH run, very well organised but way too difficult for the starting runner

This Parkrun is in a fantastic place! Although very steep it truly tests the fitness of a runner. The first 2.5km is all up hill and goes to the top of a windfarm. The sound tge turbines make when you run under them is amazing and certainly the first time Ive been so close to such enormous turbines.The race ends in a very difficult sandy section and is grueling until the end, but you certainly feel good after completing it.The views of the coastline from the top are also very beautiful!Thanks to the great team of organisers.
