Perfect winter holiday. The fireplace was an absolute winner. Kept ourselves busy with the large collection of board games and a little mountain biking. Country living in a modern setting.

Small town at its best. What a view. This is a great spot to be based wile you explore the west coast, from flower festivals to amazing family shops. Darling is an amazing town. What amazing people.

Its a cosy place to stay over. We loved the busy weavers at the front door!

This place has great potential.Could be much cleaner to my standards.Outside garden needs some attention.Even the drive way and sign needs to freshened up.

We go here once a year and to visit a client for a week. The house is very cozy. There is always wood supplies. I one forgot my laptop charger and the manager took the cable and brought it with him al the way to my location where he happened to pass and gave it back to me. So I do enjoy it here and would go there again.

Fully equipped cottage. Sleeps 6 comfortably also great for couples :-) I would highly recommend for a getaway to Darling.

The place has 3 Bedrooms en - suite and a pretty view. However very close to main road into Darling which makes for fairly loud early morning traffic sounds in the country side. The cottage was not cleaned thoroughly before we arrived and the family games advertised on the website are missing pieces and have broken parts. This was highly disappointing considering the premium price we paid.

Very nice cottage with 2 bedrooms downstairs and a loft bedroom upstairs. Really lovely place and I will definitely visit it again, however, it wasnt cleaned properly when we got there. The cottage is very well equipped and even has spices and condiments (as well as flour). There is also a washing machine and a dishwasher. Mountain bikes are also available. Being next to farmland, flies could be a bit of a problem. Aloe Cottage is quite close to the main road into Darling, but I did not find the traffic a problem or intrusive on the peace and quiet of the area.

Pretty view nice place for a getaway for the weekends but you have to bring your own food.👍

Amazing atmosphere good view

If you are brining your dog, please take note. A lovely cottage, well equiped and modern, and secure, with all that you will need for a breakaway. Pet friendly is a big plus, however be forwarned that the cottages are all very close, and with only a wire fence seperating each small little garden, the dog choir from the neighbours dogs is a bit overwhelming. Make sure your dog is socialised to accept the close proximity of the neighbouring dogs. While the view of adjacent fields is beautiful, there is road noise from the very near main Darling road, which is visible from the main balcony. The photos of Aloe Cottage do it a great deal more justice than is true, I was under the photographic impression that the cottage is alone amongst fields. I have learned in future to look at accomodation from google earth first to accurately perceive its location.
