Darling spar is terrible.Not only are they over pricedBut most of the time they dont have what we need. Everyone is now going to Yzerfontein SparThere French loaf in Darling is R16.99 and Yzerfontein its R 12. Please explain

Driving through darling. Stopped for something to eat and drink on a Saturday afternoon. Waited at the deli counter with staff busy there. Waited more. Called them. They did not even look up. Eventually someone came from the back to help. Decided to leave. Sanitiser spray bottles at the tills are dirty. Decided to only get a cool drink. Staff extremely slow. Waited 10 minutes on the que without it moving. And the people paying did not have a lot of stuff. Compared to many Spar shops this one is the worst I have been to. Left without the drinks also.

Personnel at the cashier were very helpful and assist on our requests with the promotion items. Food actually in the deli did not look that presentable and the chicken looks very dry. We focus on delicacies and either purchase there. We liked your Cappuccino. Thank you for your awesomeness. We observe YOU do comply with Covid regulations. Well done.🙏

I wish that they would start stocking halal prepackaged cold meats and some other halal products, I would really appreciate it.I spend a lot of time visiting there store

Welcoming Spar! Friendly and helpful staff.The items found in Spar are the general type, however, the bakery section offers delicious breads.When in the area, will go back there.

The products are vast and plentiful. There is such a variety that it makes some choices difficult. It makes for interesting shopping and prices to suit your wallet. It comes down to choice of brand. The Wellingtons brand of sauces is far superior to some of the older known brands, so it is worth changing.

Theres always something that stands out whenever you visit new places...As in this case, it was the SUPER FRIENDLINESS of the staff, and being so POLITE and very HELPFUL. Friendly staff and all, but something needs to be done about the vagrants outside. Every visit results in chasing off 3 or more beggars.

Very surprised to see the size of the Spar in a small town such as Darling. This must be a real treasure for the town with stock of all your needs. The staff were friendly and helpfull and the shop is very need and well maintained. Will definitely visit again when I am in Darling again. Priced at reasonable rates.

Special on Energade ×2 for R16.00. Got to the till, paid and left the premises. While drinking one of the energy dinks, I realised the amount paid was not right. To my disgust, one of the drinks was a energade and the other a powerade packed on the same rack, reason I did not get the special price. Went back and mentioned this to the cashier who assisted me who just smiled and said she was sorry. Manager nowhere to see. This is dishonest marketing - I believe Darling Spar will reap what they sow.

Staff always very helpful and good are very fairly priced.

Its better stocked than the other shops in town. the bakery goodies are a treat and the ice cream scoops are a definite must!!
