Darling Brew Tasteroom is definitely worth a visit. Great selection of their Craft Beers to taste and also to purchase from the store to take home. Really good service and a great experience all around. We tried the fish and chips as well as the hamburger. Both dishes were delicious and beautifully presented.

Amazing atmosphere with friendly service. I dont really drink beer but the Rogue Pony is quite unique. The food is amazing too!!! There is a little playground for kids outside and you can actually eat outside on the grass.. like a picnic, but with real food and quality service. This is a destination of its own. Remarkable.

Always a pleasure to visit when on a bike ride or a family adventure..Excellent selection of beers, ciders and wine. Love the vibe and the food is fantastic. There is something for everyone. Kids play area, little shop for gifts, tastings for the parents and gardens to chill. Really an awesome place and a must if you are in Darling!

This was an amazing experience. Located within the industrial zone in Darling, one wonders what you are getting yourself into while driving there, even turning into a dirt road for the last couple of hundred meters..... but what a pleasant surprise! The atmosphere is what one would expect and more. Friendly staff, great decor and situated within the actual brewery one feels part of the process. The food was exeptional and together with the beer tasting the visit provided for a memorable experience. Highly recommended. Be prepared to stay a while....#darlingbrew

We popped in for brunch on a Sunday. The waittress was so friendly and helpful. The food was good and well priced. The beer tastings are really good value and you can buy tasters of any beer for around R15. There is a huge jungle gym for kids too.

First time visitor to the Darling Brew Tasteroom. Driving up to the location doesnt for a great impression but dont let that put you off. Once inside its brilliant. Clean and well lit. Wonderful bar. Good view over the functioning brewery. Large selection of beers available for a pint or for tasting samples. Choose from the pre selected tasting boards or pick your own. Prices of tasters reasonable and the pints best prices for craft brews I have seen anywhere. The food also looks and tastes great. If heading up the west coast add this stop to your itinerary - you wont be sorry. Oh. And if you like ales try the Double IPA and the other pale ales. Really good.

Relaxing atmosphere, with attentive and knowledgeable waitrons. Service was efficient and fast. I would recommend this to anyone looking to spend a pleasant afternoon enjoying good beer and good food. They have an outside area which is wheelchair friendly with a ramp to the restrooms. Their selection of beers are quite nice and the display of the merchandise make it easy for purchases.

The quality of the drinks was awesome.The food was tasty and wholesome.The service was the worst Ive had in years. Orders were half taken and we had to call the waitress back to take everyones orders. Water never arrived. Empty plates werent cleared out. Had to wait forever to oder more rounds of drinks. Just a really disappointing experience.

Beer is good, they have change there testing tray options for testing since my last visit, not in a good way, prefer there original option. Food wasnt bad, but they skimpy in many places, we tried various meals on the day. I think my most biggest complaint would be the service. We had to call the waitress several times for service, and this seems to be a trend here. This is at times, they are not even busy, the waiters have more time standing chatting among one another, rather than attending to the customers. Makes me definitely consider places closer to home that are way more worth the while. Just a heads a folks.

Was fantastic, great service, food generous helpings well priced and good. Beer of course is excellent been drinking it since inception. BUT,a message to the brewery,the bourbon infused stout is out of this world but a bit pricey. Why not sell it in 330ml bottles without the bells and whistles?

An easy drive excursion from Cape Town to visit the home of Darling Brew, popular craft drinks. Small menu of delicious options; good value thanks to generous portions. Beautifully presented burgers, massive Cuban sandwich and novel nachos made with their own Darling chips (the pulled pork extra is must and recommend adding extra cheese).

What an amazing place. Friendly staff, great play area for the kids, excellent food and of course the beer!

Another great little South African brewpub, this one close to the West Coast National Park. It was a big place with decent snacks and sandwiches along with a very big line-up of beers on tap. We had a nice plate of cheeses, pickles and olives with great bread and a fair pulled pork sandwich. They had well-priced tasting flights and the best was an Imperial Stout called Arrowhead. Only complaint is early closing hours and not right in the center of town. If it had been in town and open at night, wed have eaten there every night.

Even though they were closed we were proudly taken on a tour of the brewery. We have many fine, innovative craft breweries in Holland and Darling would not be out of place amongst the top. Thank you for taking the time to show some kaaskoppen around.

This is a really well put together place. The seating area are big and open. You can sit outside, upstairs with a giant bar and overlooking the brewery, or in the downstairs area. The food is really good. It is very honest food, by that I imply that the flavours of everything comes through and the dishes are not elaborate, but great quality produce is used and the flavours translate into the dishes. The beer is great, there is literally something for everyone. There is also a variety of ciders and wines for people who really dont enjoy beer, but as beer is the core focus for most visitors, it is good to know that if you need to drag someone along, there are magical things other than beer available here. Great visit. Great beer. Give it a try!! Also; the crisps they make are magical!

Definitely worth a visit. If you’re fortunate to attend one of their events - event better. Weekends are the busy times. We unfortunately had to move on, so couldn’t stay for a tasting. Their unique Bone Crusher Darlin Brew chips did, however, catch our eye, and we bought some. Great with a dip of your choice. Food is served on site, with seating outside if the weather is good. A small shop sells a few items from coffee, olive oil, and interesting jams. Upstairs is where the action is. A number of tables overlooking the beer brewing tanks, and a bar offering all their great beers on tap of course. Follow the signs from inside Darling or let GoogleMaps take your there.

Love the look and feel of the place. Amazing beers. 17 to be exact. My favourite was the Warlord. Great food. The sausage plater is perfect for the meat lovers. Friendly service. A fire place or gas heaters would be a nice as it was really cold and raining. Over all experience was fantastic

Upon arrival at Darling Brewery my first thought was america very similar style brewery like a brewery Ive been too in the states. Beautiful, good cold beer with really good food.

This is a good place to chill out and drink quality craft beers. Despite the crazy names of the beer on offer, the quality of their products is of the highest standards. Try the bone crusher, a lovely wit beer. From the restaurant, one sees the impressive fermentation tanks. An excellent place to visit if you are in the neighborhood.

Manager made us nervous because she wanted us to rush from the entrance because she was expecting a booking for other customers. Did not make me feel very welcome.On the other hand, the waiters were so friendly and accommodating and the food was great!

Visited here after a day out with some friends. Went for a variety of beers to taste, and decided to get some food as well.Beers were great, and the food was fresh, well prepared and tasty.Beer had great variety from a weiss to an Imperial IPA, all were great.I had the pulled pork which had a fantastic basting on a roll, the briskett was also really good from what Im told.Meals were served with chips which were prepared fantastically, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.Will definitely be back when Im in the area again.

Want a local dining and beer tasting experience, this is highly recommended. Great place, family friendly with a playground outside. Its recommended to show up early and book a table. A bit dissapointing service, waiting for drinks, and getting some of the orders wrong.

This brewery has something for everyone. Im not much of a beer drinker, so the waitress suggested I try the Ladies Flight tasting option (pictured). I really enjoyed the first two beers with lemon and grapefruit flavours, respectively, and the ales that made up the last two tastes were not too bitter. The pulled pork on a roosterkoek (pictured) was one of the best pork burgers/sandwiches Ive ever had. The meat was tender with lots of flavour. I also enjoyed the chocolate brownie for dessert, which contained melted bits of real chocolate. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and made sure I was doing okay.Also, the ground floor of the brewery is very accessible by wheelchair and they have conveniently situated parking for the disabled. I couldnt watch the brewing process in my wheelchair, because that is done upstairs, but the staff all went out of their way to accommodate me in every other aspect.

Beer in all its glory, the beer selection is just amazing! The variety of beer is what sets darling brew apart from other breweries. The service is friendly but not always amazingly fast, as stated in the menu. But hay why rush a great beer? The food is value for money, bar the 300g ribs. Definitely worth the trip, but find a driver :)

This Brewery is amazing and with their variety they can cater to any tastes. The way they have there tasting room set up is amazing and can be very interactive with the bar. The Brewery is an on going operation behind you and its amazing getting to see the process first hand whilst getting to experience and taste these wonderful Brews. There is even a play area for the kids to enjoy themselves which is a great touch

We did a beer tasting and they were all delicious. The three IPAs are winners. We were told that the pulled pork sandwich was the local favorite, and it didnt disappoint. Mouthwatering... Chilled out vibe and the service was fantastic.

To most South African beer drinkers the beer needs no introduction. That being said, the Darling Brew or Brew as known to us locals is a well rounded place with cozy inside tables overlooking the brew facilities, vibey outdoor tables, good food, a jungle gym and some friendly staff. Beware of the beer tasting... if you are planning to taste the whole range, I would advise that you share since it gets a bit potent and will leave you feeling like a fight with Chuck Norris.

An attraction, well worth the visit /detour or stop over . A little more than half an hour off the West Coast Road through the town of Darling leads you to the Darling Breweries . A stopover of note . The venue is children friendly - lots of jungle gyms, climbers and swings . Green grass and plenty tables and chairs for all to enjoy whilst keeping an eye on the little ones.The restaurant seats indoor and nature loving outside patrons. The menu is great - inexpensive, wholesome and much to choose from .Obviously, being a brewery there is more than enough beer (and other products) sampling to take place. .The staff were knowledgeable and friendly and the service was excellent .Interesting to note that all staff are local. All products produced, cooked up and or sold are produced grown or baked locally.A great way to spend some down time

From all the breweries weve visited, Darling Brew is still our favourite. We wish it was a bit closer to Cape Town so we can visit it more often! A definite must visit, a set enough time aside for this stop, you might just want to stay the whole afternoon
