Peaceful place with great natural scenery. Went there recently with friends and had a relaxing time. Plus the rooms are clean, the houses well secured and the hostess is very friendly

My wife and I had an amazing time here. A really peaceful place away from the noise of the world and I can honestly say the first time I really feel like we rested. We stayed in the Yellowwood Cottage, such an awesome and cozy place. It is need of a little TLC, some small things that need attention, but otherwise I have no complaints. Will definitely be back!

What a gem! This place is so beautiful and peaceful and you can truly relax and recharge. We stayed @ the Mahogany cottage which was great and very well equipped. The stairs are very steep so we wouldnt recommend for elderly people. Berenice was super attentive in the booking process and we would love to visit again. Lots to do in the area too.

Solitude is a place to relax, unwind and just be. The dam, trees, veldt, dirt roads, sky and silence offers my partner and I a peace & comfort that isnt found in Joburg. Our girls are often at their happiest here. Comfy beds, reading books, night sky, crisp mornings, cold swims. Solitude is more than just a place to stay. Its a place to catch up with your soul.

Solitude is a beautiful place for long walks, afternoon naps, and quiet cups of tea on the verandah. Yellowwood cottage is quirky and well furnished, with everything you need for a comfortable stay.
