This restaurant is amazing. We had such friendly, wonderful service and the food came quickly. The food is scrumptious, especially their specialty pancakes. Its beautifully located in Cullinan close to the other restaurants and little shops. Its a must try when visiting Cullinan

Best pancakes in South Africa - hands down!! I highly recommend the chicken livers savoury pancake, and the caramel banana for sweet. Thank you to the friendly staff who did an excellent job serving.

It was a nice experience. They had some good coffee and great pancakes. Was a nice stop.

It’s one thing to wait an hour for food when th restaurant wasn’t busy but it’s another thing entirely to order a toasted bacon and cheese and get a slice of toast, cheese on the side and bacon. I mean tell us you don’t serve toasted sandwiches for crying out loud.Service is well below average and the mince and cheese (again served on the side not as one in the pancake) was mediocre. The chai latte was good. There’s a host of establishments further down the road I’d recommend over Harties.

Just love Harries Pancakes and I will definitely refer people to them.Always great food.They need to look into getting a bigger variety of Milkshakes.

Lovely little restaurant with decking onto the street. They have a wide range of large, delicious pancakes and other light meal items. Service is great despite them becoming very busy very quickly (they are very popular with bikers taking a day trip to Cullinan).

Great variety of pancakes. The quality is very good. Tastewise it is worth travelling from Pretoria. The service is a little on the impersonal side. Meaning the waiters are proficient but without a smile or any effort to be friendly like many other places in Gauteng.The 4 stars are given without taking the service into account. If I do it will loose a star.I have been there before and I will go again.

Great breakfast and awesome place to meet up with your biker buddies but be warned, after 9am on a Sunday the place is jam packed and finding a table will be a problem. But this speaks to its popularity so you really cant go wrong.

Harries Pancakes is a MUST stop while you are in Cullinan browsing the many shops in Oak Avenue ! The Peppermint Crisp Pancake is out of this world delicious and my husband enjoyed his mince filled pancake just as much. Prices are very reasonable and they do offer salads, drinks and breakfasts as well

I loved this spot! The decor and tableware with modern art on display and descriptions of art pieces is fun. The pancakes are delicious! I had a boboti one which was the perfect balance of spiced meat in a light and fluffy pancake.

Really great place . The biggest issue they have is that they are almost too popular. Finding a table can sometimes be difficult. I guess that tells how good it is.

Quaint rustic cafe at the entrance to the Cullinan mine village. Mainly pancakes with a large range of fillings. Two sizes of English breakfast offered as well. Nice coffee. Reasonable prices. Service OK.

The service was good the setting is quaint but the food was disappointing. The savoury mince pancakes arrived with pieces of raw mince meat and a piece of bone in the pancake. The manager was sitting inside the restaurant and after commenting about the food to the waiter the manager told the waiter to tell us that they received the mince prepackaged and therefore have no control over the quality.The manager did not even bother to come outside to our table to speak to us personally.I felt very sorry for the waiter as he tried very hard to please us.I would not recommend going to Harries Pancakes in Cullinan

Crowded and not a good atmosphere. Wish I could rate them -1!My husband had the curry beef pancake.I had the Butternut & Feta pancake ... but, what a shock. I have never seen any meal this bad before. The filling was literally 7 blocks of Butternut ... not even well cooked with about 12 small blocks of Feta ... with 20ml of some pickled stuff and that is it!!!!! No caramelized onions or mushrooms or spices or a cheese sause or anything else with it.Also no chips or a side salad. The pancakes are so thick that it also taste raw. This is absolutely ridiculous ... not even parsley or fennel or paprika as garnish to make the food look more appealing .... and then you pay R80 to R110 for only 1 pancake.This place will NEVER see me again and due to this we will never visit any Harries pancake ever ... doesnt matter te location.This was money down the drain. If only we walked down the road and had our Lunch there ... weve seen the most appealing plates of food on our walk down the road.

The food was fantastic, the service was good, but the music from the makeshift pub nextdoor was too ridiculously loud and made the experience rather unpleasant. I saw two lots of people walk to the entrance of Harries and then decide to go across the road instead because the music nextdoor was almost too loud to talk over. I think the management shouldve had a word with the place nextdoor to get them to turn the music down to a reasonable level, but nobody did anything about it.
