I’ve been here two times in the past 2 months because of much fun I have here! The first time I came for quad biking and paintball with my friends and then again for horse riding. The activities are value for money, the guides are experienced and patient with us. The lunch and picnic provided as part of our package could’ve been better, however I still had a great time.

Super fun! And it was affordable too. We did some air rifling, archery, horse riding and quad biking (which was sooo awesome) ! Id recommend you BOOK!

Been to the this place three times just for quadbiking. I bought a voucher on Hyperli(Quadbiking for 2 and braai lunch). Booking process is very easy. To reach the place, there’s a long gravel road so keep that in mind. I absolutely love the quadbiking trail and it is well thought out and very fun. You really get your money’s worth. I will keep visiting this place.

Great place to experience some fun with friends /family. It is quite hot so I’d recommend you put on sunscreen and bring shades .The quad bike does heat up as well which tends to burn your legs a bit, maybe different way of sitting or clothes would help.It would be even more fun if we’re given the opportunity to race a bit, especially for the adrenaline junkies.Overall, great hosts, very welcoming and enjoyed it.

The quad biking trail was an amazing experience, I did not even mind ending up with dusty clothes after the ride, I would love more.We did not get a spit a braai, even though we got to eat and service delivery needs some serious improvement, no one introduced themselves, from the lady in the pink outfit to the old guy who was our quad biking guide (he is a cool guide though)

My family and I had an awesome time quad biking. Hilda - our guide - was fantastic, very patient. The trail is great.We also did some paintballing and that was also fun.They also offer horse riding.

Went quad biking with kids - which was fun. Its great that they have smaller size quads in order to allow kids of s younger age to also ride on their own, if confident to do so, an not wanting to ride as passengers.

A day full of fun speed and scenic views with plenty of activities to do. Went there for quad biking.The trail was long and challenging but the helpful guides were always there to assist. We concluded the day with a braai and had a really good time there. The place is also not too far away from Johannesburg.

Fantastic experience with Sybrand and the team! First time horse riding and it was exceptional. Sybrand took us on a route that included walking, trotting and cantering through a scenic farm. Highly recommended

The quad biking itself was really amazing and better than expected.The guy who was guiding us was patient. However, a little more customer service would have been appreciated- we had to enquire about the braai ourselves and had to wait for about 20 minutes for it and the meat wasnt fully cooked. And the fact that they charge R15 for cold drink with a recommended price of R7 is crazy!! So make sure you to take your own drinks. Overall it was a good enough experience.

This indeed a beautiful place for riding... Its not as great as the first farm they had.Still a great place for riding.But there are no refreshments, the place is not cleaned up...Dirty chairs, but on core business, they do it so well.

We did quad biking and it was awesome absolutely loved it.

I did quad biking here it was an amazing experience. Getting to this facilities though, a bit of a drive on a gravel dusty road.The drinks are costly too. Id suggest if you do go there, bring own drinks and snacks.

What a breath taking experience! I took my boyfriend there for his birthday and he loved every moment... I would love to do it again!

Wonderful time here with the hubby. We went quad biking on their trails with obstacle courses. Too much fun! They have a picnic option too which we’ll take next time we go.

Great place for an adventurous day full of joy, fun and laughter with friends and family with picnic after the activities. Bring own lunch or arrange with the manager such a nice man. Horse riding and quadbiking available for kids and adults for over an hour rides and station museum and history to explore at this old van der merwe station.

For complete novices to experienced riders. Very friendly and accommodating hosts. The picnic package ride is worth every cent - highly recommend.

Quad biking for the first time in my life was a riveting experience. The trails were quite a complex web of twists and turns and in some places undulating. The instructions were very useful to avoid mishaps.A cloth mask proved essential for dust. Any white garment is a no no because at the end its brown. Oily bearded or hair also a no go area unless you want a reason to shampoo twice or thrice.

My family and I went there on a Sunday to ride quads, very clean and tidy venue, the two owners where very quick to explain to our group the rules to keep everybody safe, the quad bikes are in a good shape, the route through the bush was Beautiful, lots of things to do, some (optional) obstacles along the way to keep you on your toes, very good Guides both front and at the back of the group, lekker braai place after your back at the base camp and cold drinks are sold at the shop. we will definitely recommend this place to anyone, and we will be going again soon.

Great ride for beginners and more advanced riders

Would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a horse riding adventure with an amazing view as a bonus. The quad biking is also a must do and the owners were very friendly and helpful.

I had so much fun here with my 8 friends. The horse riding and quad biking was fun and the instructors were all amazing. Sybrand was very accommodating and made sure that we got the full experience. Thank you.

I am not sure if this place also took a knock to the extent that their horses were not properly fed during lock down and the general up keep of the place. A quad bike had not breaks which ultimately hit and scared the horse that I was on. The horse jostled and jump forward causing me to fall of the horse. None of their staff came to check up on me, maybe that could also be equated to the cheap labour that they have hired there. We bought the tickets online and did not expect to get there and braai for ourselves, this could have been mentioned beforehand. After my incident, this was after our trail one of the horse wanted to attack my friend luckily it was locked in...this was quit the experience and I WOULD DO THIS AGAIN, just not with them!

Place could do with an upgrade or 2 but a very enjoyable experience overall

The horses are very tame and responsive. The quad bikes was just adventurous enough for beginners to really enjoy.

You know I was so disadvantaged to go to this place, because I was so tired. But because of my beautiful wife, she encouraged me to drive ...horse riding is what she wanted to do. And when we got there, I even forgot about being tired because of the warming welcome by the manager of the adventure. They never said that because is our first time riding a horse, and neglected us....nooo. they had enough time for us, made sure that we enjoy horse riding...can you believe it. After the tutorial, it was like I used to do horse riding. So as were looking forward to check in again, I also recommend it to others in our local places to check in. They gonna enjoy bigtime...

Great experience.

We just came from the horse riding Adventure and we did the Quad-bike and paint balling. And the service was horrible. Sybrand is rude,arrogant and extremely impatient and cant speak to people. The paint balling is not safety compliant. The food was horrible and tasteless , And not cooked properly the chicken and the gamon was undercooked. The kitchen was dirty and was full of flies. At some point there was no water so we couldnt wash our hands. And the Quad-bikes kept on breaking down. We are definitely not coming back!

Its a great place but the service wasnt so great. I had a quad bike accident due to being given a mulfunctioning bike. Luckily I made it out with a few scabs and bruises but nothing serious.

I enjoyed myself with those quid bikes, for out door adventure is the place to be

I was just calling to enquire about their rates and the person I spoke too was so rude and impatient. It killed my overall desire to visit their place!! Bad manners! And most probably wont be good hosts.

The place is beautiful. The horses are such a great experience. The actual place could use with some maintenance. The place has the potential of being a great place for tourists but its really not maintained as well as it should be.Also, the food that they offer really needs some work. We didnt enjoy our food much on the date.

What a wonderful place, we spent the whole weekend there and it was great!the food was tasteful and enough for all the guests.Sleeping facilities was clean and quite the experience. They accommodated all our needs and was always ready to help.Sybrand and Hilda you are wonderful people and i hope to visit you again.I will recommend this lovely place to anyone.

Such a wonderful venue filled with loads of history.So many antiques and old school automotive history throughout the property.Would definitely recommend anyone to take the full package that I enjoyed on my visit. Value for money guaranteed.However I do recommend owners to have a cooler box with water and drinks on ice at all times as you get very hot and dehydrated throughout the day.I also believe the staff could be more accommodating to clients as no real preparation or communication was given to us.All in all it was a great day out.

What an amazing experience! The horses are well trained and very obedient. We had a canter through the field that just made me want more.

Badly maintained quad bikes,rude management

Very country. Horses in excellent condition. People so accommodating and friendly.

Hygiene compromised. So dirty. As a service provider you cant be comfortable hosting people in such a filthy place. I felt so unwelcome and being taken for a ride. I unfortunately dont recommend it to anyone. Department of Health must visit them for checks.

It was indeed fun! With the option to go horseback riding or quad-biking, and having a burger afterwards included, I was extremely pleasantly surprised!

The horse riding was absolutely fantastic, friendly horses, nice trail. Expected more from the archery as only one person can go at a time and only get limited number of shots. Expected more professional looking bow and arrows. The food was was delicious and you can sit and kuier afterwards as alcoholic beverages are available.

Nice idea but the owners need to up the service offered. Restaurant section needs to cater for the meals by having table clothes, salt and pepper. The meals are far too home cooked and probably dont meet health regulations. The facility can be wonderful only if the owners put a lot more effort into making the experience worth your while.

Lovely place to spend the day with friends and family. Definatly would recommend to anyone looking for a fun day out.

We bought a full package (Horse riding, quad Biking and a Spit Braai) for six people. Horse riding and quad biking were not bad but the food was horrible. The tables, plates, cups and the whole dining area was dirty. No one bothered to clean or dust the place. The food was not even close to appetising. The chicken looked and tasted like it was boiled. Most of us just took one bite and then left and then two of my friends did not even touch the food because they were discgusted by the place. I was also not happy with the service. There was a lady with a horrible attitude.

Very interesting place and a nice experience

SHOCKING SHOCKING SHOCKING!!!!!!We booked accommodation at one of Sybrands establishments. What a disappointment. There was no warm water in one of the blocks and almost no lights to find our way around the rooms. The response we got from him and his staff was also of no help. We found him to be arrogant and he has no interest in helping you as his guest.
