In all honesty I wasnt expecting much on the way there but over all I was quite surprised from the onset, the staff there are really friendly and welcoming and when you go inside and see all the lovely chocolates and range of coffees its quite spectacular, however you cant sample the various coffee flavours they only brew one flavour, the chocolates are nice and come in various shapes and sizes and are skillfully decorated. for lunch I ordered the Pork Belly and the presentation looked good but the flavour didnt deliver and there were terrible bits of gristle in the meat which I have never experienced elsewhere before. The coffee I did have was not bad at all but would have still liked to have a choice of the various flavours.

Great Food, big variety of Hand Made Chocolates and Awesome Confectionery. Red Valvet and Black Forest cakes are moist, light, fresh and Very Delicious. The Manager and staff is very friendly and hospitable and makes you feel right at home.

After my last review of Le Pate a Choux Bistro and Confectioners, in Cullinan, I’ve been back on three separate occasions. What a disappointment! Under new management, this “Bistro” is now a shadow of its former self.On every visit, half the items on the menu were not available; the service is terrible – they’ve obviously had a cut in staff; the bare tables do not have condiments (or ANYTHING) laid out – I even had to ask the waitress for sugar for my tasteless cup of “cappuccino” coffee.The wife and I were the only customers at 10:00 on a Friday morning – clearly the word has spread that Le Pate is no longer the place to Chow.In future, I shall avoid this eatery like a bad case of the flu. Do yourself a favour: do NOT visit them, it’s not worth it.

Dismal & plastic food. The menu promised homemade pure beef patties & that is not what was served. The onion rings were crumbled....horrific !! Hair was found in one of the burgers we ordered. The only thing nice item on the menu is the Canadian Cheese Dip . Excellent service from Pearl despite all of the above

Open early on a Sunday in beautiful veranda and outside area. Breakfast at high end of price range lacking garnish rubbery eggs Tea served in a beautiful porcelain pot which pours without spilling. Bit of attention to detail by chef would make this the place to go

Excellent food at a vey reasonable price. The restaurant are biker friendly with special places for helmets and jackets. The chocolate manufactured and sold there is an experience on its own. I highly recommend a visit here.

Delicious food. Enjoyed lunch here. And tempting pastries and biscuits on sale as well. Unfortunately the milk tart was all sold out....we were sleeping. One can also buy the pastries to take home.

We went to this absolutely fabulous restaurant over the weekend and would recommend it. The food is wonderful, and the prices are very good. We got good value for our money, and are planning a return trip soon.We have also recommended it to family and friends.

Great place for breakfast or lunch and with the added benefit of having a choclatier on the premises.Attracts a mixed crowd of bikers, cyclists and sports car owners on a Sunday. Their full English breakfast is as close to the real thing as you can get here in SA.

I simply cannot believe Im the first person to post a review for this fabulous place. Good food, fast and efficient service.I only had a quiche to eat today but next time Im going for a full meal and some of the dessert that they have on display!Im definitely coming back again!

Very disappointed with the variety of everything. The waitress did not know the weekly specials and the menu was one page. The chocolates and pastries were also very limited. They may have been great but was empty on options and patrons when we went.

I was surprised it is nice service was good and friendly luvvvv your salad dressing you should sell it to public. The waitress said you made it on site! And with toilets as clean as yours you deserve 5 * * * * * will come again

This is the best coffee shop I have been to in a very long time. The strange thing is that it is situated in Cullinan, the small diamond village on the easren outskirts of Pretoria. They serve scrumptious breakfasts, steaks, confectionery and the most exquisite hand made chocolates. The atmosphere in the old house is warm, friendly and welcoming. It is such a fresh alternative to all the tired, old coffe shop franchises in town.

Cullinans most upscale dining option and exceptional service at low to midrange prices. Pleasant, all-new decor with trendy-vintage design throughout. Inventive, international fusion menu. Beautiful, dainty pastries and bewitching chocolate room.

A bit disappointing after high expectations and anticipation. Very slow service...appeared to he short- staffed on a Sunday morning. Very basic average breakfast.

We were a table of 12 last night and every person at our table raved about the food and for such a big table the service was exceptionally good. We would definitely go back, in fact we are going back at lunch time today for some baked goodies as our meals were so big and yummy last night that we were unable to add desert but were looking forward to this at lunch time today :)

This restaurant situated in Cullinan offers good food and generous portions at very reasonable prices, although the menu is fairly limited. Expect great service from the staff. No long wait for you meal after ordering!The premises houses a chocolatier and offers a great selection of freshly baked confectionary as well.

Great breakfast, good friendly service. R 20.00 for a small bottle of still water was a bit much.
