Wonderful place to stay. We stayed in Wildebeest Cottage. The accommodation was very clean, tidy and spacious. The bedding was fresh, warm and comfortable. Kitchen very well kitted out, although a big pot would have come in handy with it being an eight sleeper. A dishwasher would have been a real treat!!Amazing game drive with Des, an informative and humorous guide.Staff extremely friendly and helpful (Kelsey). Amazing ! We enjoy the security, peace and quiet, wonderful service and friendly staff. The camping sites are wonderful : previous time it rained all weekend and with the extended roof over bathroom/kitchen area, as well as big boma,, we were not put out at all. It is by far our most favorite camping site.

What a surprise. Frankly I was hoping not too many people find out about this gem in the bush. Truly outstanding campsites just outside Pretoria. I want to have what Muriël is having, she is such a bubbly and happy host. Great game drive free of charge, plenty animals and very informative. We will most certainly be back. Had no cellphone reception which was another bonus.

I booked a Suprise outing for my sister , oooh she was so happy and wants to go again, thank you so much for the friendly and warm welcome , definitely a place to be if you want peace and tranquility .

Great, relaxing experience. Amazing game drives and plenty of animals to see. Tented camps were well looked after, clean and comfortable. The communal braai area is spacious and can accommodate a good gathering. Grant was very knowledgeable on the area and history of the farm. A lot of work is being put in to maintenance and improving the lodges services. The nicest part was that it is within a two hour drive from Johannesburg.

Wagon Drift Lodge has really exceeded my expectations, we are staying in the Chalets for two people, and its really nice, can see the animals from the nice braai porch area, lots of wood, built in braai, Chalet has aircone, and a very comfortable bed and modern bathroom.I am definitely coming back, for the hospitality, the friendly staff, and awesome game drive.Very beautiful place and close to Johannesburg and Pretoria.

For a small game reserve its very well stocked, the accommodation is comfortable and the staff makes one feel welcome.

The place is very homely with no one to keep watching on you so you get free and comfortable. The game ride was so so fun.

Friendly staff, nice campsites and perfect place to relax. Each campsite has its own bathroom with shower and toilet. Game drive is a much. Perfect for active families of groups of people. Can jog, bike and walk all the dirt roads.

Fantastic. We spent some of our honeymoon at the lodge, and it was fantastic. The game drive was super. The cottage was fantastic.

Amazing little nature reserve about 2 hours away from Johannesburg. Perfect place for a relaxing holiday. The camp sites are spacious and each site has a thatch lapa and private ablution. There is a swimming pool for hot days and chalets for those who dont wish to camp.

We spend our 1 year anniversary at Wagon Drift Lodge and we just loved every moment of our stay. We stayed in one of the tented camp site and it was so well equipped, neat and clean and absolutely stunning. Muriel even gave us a prezzie for our 1 year anniversary. The bed is super comfy and the shower is divine.The Game Drive was also an highlight of our stay, Des is awesome.We cant wait for our next visit.

Loads of animals to be seen, the food is out of this world 3 meals a day and you can go back for seconds or even thirds Ann who runs it is fantastic nothing is too much for her rooms are clean and beds very comfortable fully serviced.

Fantastic place for spending some time in nature. The location is superb, the hosts are extremely friendly and the staff is excellent. Can wholeheartedly recommend.

Stayed for one night but wish it was longer. Chalets are very well maintained and the kitchen is equal to a city homes kitchen. The game drive was great , saw zebras and different kinds of buck. The staff are very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a home away from home then visit the lodge.

Beautiful place and customer service exceptional

I can highly recommend Wagondrift lodge for a weekend getaway, a group gathering or a formal event. We did our yearly Unimog Freunde Club of SA AGM there and Des, Muriel and their team out performed all our expectations. The service is memorable, and their friendliness and support with all the extras that we needed for the event were beyond expectation. On top of that the venue cater for the campers, the tented camps, people preferring chalets and family cottages and then there is the luxury of the lodge. Do yourself a favour and visit them, you will without a doubt want to come again.
