We went on the Quad Safari. At R850 per person for a 2 hour 25km drive we expected a slightly better experience. The guide wasnt much of a talker nor did he bother to give anyone a quick overview of how the quads worked.I had the only manual gearbox which worked out great as Ive driven bikes before. But several of the other riders got stuck with automatics that couldnt even idle. So they had to restart the engine every few hundreds of meters. The guides own quad smoked so bad that no-one wanted to ride directly behind him.Something they didnt mention on the website is to bring goggles or sunglasses. The drive wouldve been impossible without eye cover. Talking about safety: if you have a bike helmet, I suggest you bring it as the toy hard hats they offer would be useless in a fall.We didnt see much game but the experience of being on a dirt road on a quad with a manual gearbox made it worthwhile in the end for me.

Loved the landscaping at Muningi Gorge. You do have to book before going though. We just went and almost didnt get any activities so bookings are definitely essential.

I went on the Quad Safari with my partner, we had a really great time. The guide talked us through on how the quads work and we were provided with helmets.It was dusty I think it’s because it hasn’t rained in a while so I’d advise one to have goggles, wear shorts and nothing light.

One of the best hiking trails in Gauteng. The gorge is absolutely beautiful.

Trails are marked nicely only in the beginning, you can easily get lost in the middle of the trail as they only used Tropika Juice bottle caps to show the colour of the trail you on and a few painted rocks.I had Wors Roll and my fellow hiking crew had burgers, and we felt the rolls werent fresh.Its a baby Rustig trail, 8km.

Friendly people, not too crowded. Beautiful scenery. A lot of activities.We did the 4.5 km hike. The views are worth the climbing. We arent fit at all and we made it to the top albeit with a lot of resting.

Target archery was a lot of fun 😀 Our instructor was great. There’s a lovely deck overlooking the gorge where you can have some drinks and a meal. We will definitely go back to try some of the other activities offered by Adventure Zone.

Definitely book a few activities and make a day of it. Seems expensive at first but the amount of equipment and preparation and staff that go into the experience is huge and I can assure you , you are getting value for money. Did abseiling and quad safari and theres so much we will definitely be back . Suggest morning slot activity then lunch in the deck then afternoon activity. Oh , and definitely suggest you get the entertainer app , you can thank me later 😉

We had a lovely hike but I was saddened to see that the entire 6 km walk was strewn with plastic bottles from previous hikers. Many in our group of 23 commented that this was not a great example and measures should be put in place to get this under control.

Absolutely incredible!from the booking process to the actual activities it was amazing beyond words! they even went out of their way to arrange a beautiful picnic on the cliff for our first wedding anniversary! we did the abseiling as well as the archery and it was incredible! will definitely be back to do more of the activities on offer!!! thank you so much for making our first anniversary so special!!!

Apparently, it was Eleanor Roosevelt who said: “Do one thing every day that scares you.”So... if you should feel like doing the “scary thing,” why not try the zip-line “scary thing” at the Muningi Gorge, outside Cullinan? Speaking from experience, I rate this exhilarating adventure right up there with bungee jumping and skydiving. Plus the fact that you get to see the incredibly lovely gorge, while zipping across it like an arrow.The trainers/guides at the facility, Ndu and Lifa, are true professionals. They combine wit and humour with a no-nonsense approach. Great guys – both of them.The harnesses and equipment seem to be in good working order – but the protective gloves are waaay beyond their use-by date.All in all, it is money well spent. You should try it.

We celebrated my girlfriend’s 25th with the Extreme Zip-lining and Hike at Adventure Zone and had such an awesome time.Destination is remote, peaceful and breathtakingly beautiful.Staff are funny, entertaining and knowledgeable.The zip-lining was truly incredible. Views are epic. So worth it.You’ve got to take a drive to Cullinan to experience this.And what’s better still is that these guys are on The Entertainer – so we’ll definitely be coming back as this makes it so affordable.Thanks for an unforgettable experience.Perfect does of adrenaline for a birthday gift!

Had an absolutely awesome experience doing the zipline over the Muningi Gorge. Ndomiso and Themba were excellent guides ensuring that we were safe and have lots of fun. Will highly recommend the zipline and will return to experience the other activities on offer.

Although the place didnt have tap water, yu had to buy it.. the 8km was very challenging. There was a lot of rock climbing along the trail . There are many activities available like hiking, quad biking, abseiling, zip lining and others . A mini restaurant is also there where food and beverages are sold.

Wow what an adventure!! My family and I had the most fun even though it was our first time. The lady who took us for the tour was patient with us including my 8year old.🤗🤗

We did the 8.5km hike. This is was one of the best hikes Ive done in a while. There was a bit of everything. Great scenery, climbing and walking. I think this is an ideal day out and a hike one should not rush. Give yourself time to take in the views.However, please wear hiking shoes (and gloves) for the 8.5

Awesome day hiking at adventure zone. A challanging hike but doable for the average adventurous person. Very scenic with great photo opportunities. The trails are well maintained and marked. There are rest room facilities and a small shop at the start of the hike. Will definitely be returning!!! Also great service.

We just arrived home from adventure zone, and it was a very awesome fun filled entertaining day... The staff and guides are super helpful and friendly, there number one priority is your safety which is cool... Our booking experience was great the owner is super friendly and helpful and we had JP as our guide he was awesome and had a great vibe and energy to him even got me to jump in the river, its great to be guided by people like JP who truly love there job... Thanks guys for an awesome experience will definitely be back soon... Its also great to see that all your equipment and quads are in top condition... I hardly ever give a place 5 stars but you guys definitely deserve it, great place great job guys keep it up ...

Went on the Extreme Zipline and the Quad Safari. Both amazing and well coordinated. friendly staff, clean place. Eventhough the whole area had no water due to water shedding, they made special arrangements for water :)

Had an amazing time here! The zipling course boasts 4 ziplines, each a little further than the last. The guides were friendly, well equiped and knew how to handle certain weather conditions. Definitely recommend!

We organised a bachelors party here. When we got there they told us that they did not book our activities, after we payed a deposit and followed up 3 days prior.We ended up doing zip lining, which was still pretty cool.It was still an amazing experience. They were really friendly, knew their safety protocols well and the venue and equipment was maintained really well.

Went to adventure zone for the quad bike safari and archery. The staff and facilities at adventure zone were really good. My partner had never been on a quad before but our guide was very friendly helpful and informative. The quad bike safari is something everyone should do, breath taking views and surroundings. The archery was super fun and our instructor (think his name was Tshepo.. not sure) was very good and entertaining. Will be back for Zip line and hike very soon.

Loved the safari quad experience. Be prepared to get dirty! Saw lots of antelope and zebra.

Very very nice did the zip line tour ! Really something that you have to do at least once in your life ! They have the longest and highest zip line I have been on and I have done a couple of them in the past a truly great experience!! Wil return to do the abseiling ! Thats next on by bucket list !

We had a great time doing archery! Book ahead of time and make sure to apply sunblock before you come. A nice bar, stocked with the essentials can be found on the premises. Bring your friemds for all sorts of teambuilding activities. We cant wait to go again!

Lots of fun and interesting activities, went for the hike and it has some pretty fun and challenging terrain, 3hour route took us just over an hour and a bit.

Had an amazing experience, great place for a bit of adventure and fun, not too far out of Joburg. Zip lining and quad biking were great.

An interesting place for family holiday with state of the art facilities.

Archery - no safety instructions whatsoever. Ended up with blisters on the fingers and purple arms where the string hits you. The equipment and instructors are not up to scratch with the sport.

That you offer to make lunch on the barbeque and drinks and bar on premisses....allow yourself to have snacks also. Chips and chocolates and just maybe the most needed stuff. Specialy having kids. They are always hungry....And with your drives you need to stop more to have photo shoots for groups to take. Scenery so beautiful in mountain. Have stop points to take more photos and offer free water with the rides. R500 is quite a bit and we pay that with a smile with the ride we had. All and all we will visit again.
