Great ambiance and friendly staff.the menu appeals to everyone. Loved it.

Milkshake and pizza looked great but flavours didnt match up, a real disappointment. Pizza ingredients were bland and oily. Service also rather lacklustre. Based on the other reviews, perhaps we just got a bad day.

*Good:Friendly service. Nice light and thin base.*Bad:One was a tropical (on which one slice didnt even have a piece of banana, and the others were very sparsely topped. The bacon/macon was too oily) and a tuscan (which I had no specific qualm with).

Nice stopover and a 50/50 option when you just can’t make up your mind with all the delicious pizza options!

Most likely the best pizza in Clarens if not the entire country . One of the best weve ever had. Was really tasty and baked to perfection. Also had a very interesting and tasty salad. Would be on my speed dail list.

There is very little that can beat a propper woodburning oven Pizza!And Mosaic does it just right. They have a good atmosphere regardless of you use indoor or outdoor seating. (Weather permitting)Of course their prices are affordable and their food is great. However, I would recommend you make booking though. Especially if there is an event in Clarens. They are very popular and it can get busy fairly quick.

A nice family atmosphere pizzeria. Awesome pizzas but on the stingy side when it comes to toppings, especially when you pay for extra toppings. We were unfortunately not greeted or seated when we entered and we felt very awkward standing around. We decided to take a seat at the bar and the friendly barman took our orders for drinks and take away pizza.

I loved the pizza, generous toppings, and a thin, crispy base. My husband really enjoyed the naked burger. Service is great, manager and staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make your evening enjoyable. Highly recommended, remember to book on weekends, the restaurant is small, cosy and very popular.

Wow...their on tap cocktails were delicious!!! And as Vegans...they had a proper vegan menu and so many options. You can have pizza, burgers, salads etc. We were so impressed! The menu was different as the one on Zomato, but definitely a Vegan friendly restaurant!! Thank you and well done!!!

I can honestly say this is the best pizza of Clarens ! Gavin the owner is always on site and hands in with the restaurant. The staff are friendly and the pizzas are awesome ! Always consistent and thin wood oven pizzas ! Tons of flavor and nice and crispy . Everytime we come to Clarens the pizza is something we cannot miss !

It was a fantastic evening out. A very cosy atmosphere and relaxed vibes. The food was delicious and there was a live singer/guitarist as the cherry on top.

Great service. Excellent pizzas. Definitely worth coming back again. Six years ago, this pizzeria was the only restaurant around the area working in the evening. We waited two hours + back then for our pizzas with a 30 person waiting line. Visiting again six years later, we waited 30 minutes. Loved the stay!

If i could give i minus revenue i would.Ordered burgers .. Buns not toasted no butter no source all the food on the plate was cold no taste.I wish i had taken a pic.When we spoke to the management they where rude no table manners and still tried to make us pay for a meal we did not eat.Its about time people stand up for bad service and quality.We have been traveling throughout South Africa and this was the worst foid and service we have ever seen

Quick service, nice vibe and good food!

The food was good. Service is a bit slow but not unbearablely slow. The menu offers enough variety. The pizza we ordered was good. I will give it a 8/10. I will visit them again. Clarens offers a reasonable variety of restaurants so there are other options in town as well if Pizza and Pasta isnt your thing.

We basically typed in “Clarens pizza” into Google and hoped for the best, and the best was delivered. Great pizza selection, and people were in and out constantly fetching their take aways so it’s clearly a local favourite. I had an ole-faithful bacon, feta and avo pizza and it was delicious. The medium sizes are great but it’s probably better value to go large and take home some leftovers!

Poor service, waitress attending to our table got our order wrong, food was tasteless. Could not wait to leave the establishment (which looks very inviting). Management must improve service and customer ethic

Really lovely spot!! It was a crazy busy night at the restaurant, and the menu warned us that we can expect slower service when busy. The service was very quick, the pizzas were amazing with many toppings and they are generous with the cheese! The desert pizza was delicious and perfect for sharing between 4 people!

Mosaic is set slightly back from the main square of Clarens, but its friendly, relaxed and serves some of the best pizza we have eaten in SA. And if youre lucky, you might even get a visit from the restaurant cat!

We ordered 2 medium pizzas. It took 2 hours to get our pizzas after receiving the wrong pizzas the first time around.3 families that came in after us got their pizzas and left in that time while we were waiting.We were told that they somehow messed up the order TWO TIMES.

It was really busy during Easter Weekend as the first day we arrived we opted not to wait the 1 hour for Pizza, but the second day we were lucky and got served quickly with delicious pasta and pizza for take a way. The fireplace indoors really assisted to make the cold experience memorable!

I was slightly disappointed by the takeaway pizza that I ordered. I ordered the pizza with cranberry jam. It was mostly cheese on my pizza. Did not taste the cranberry at all. As I only tried the mosaic pizzeria once, I cannot give a completely honest opinion, as I am used to having pizza a certain way and only tried one pizza as I am not from Clarens.

Great atmosphere and great pizza. Competes with anything you can get in Gauteng and doesnt cost a fortune. A must if you are in Clarens. Waited quite a while for the food though, but that is expected in a small town.

Worst pizza I had, it was bland bland, and we bought it takeaway you can imagine our disappointment when we got to our place apparently if you want it to taste nice you should add extra everything on their menu. Likely we had leftovers oxtail and lamb shank and sauces and was able to save it.

Now this is great pizza and some serious value for money. Being right in the heart of Quirky Clarens adds to the wonderful vibe of the restaurant.

The pizza was tasty when it eventually arrived but like others commented, the service was slow (I had to go see if they had forgotten my order at some point). When I walked in there was more than one table still stacked with dirty plates so I chose to eat outside (that’s not nice).

Easily the best restaurant in Clarens. After several very disappointing meals at other restaurants in Clarens on our first trip to the Drakensburg, we were thrilled to find Mosaic and ate there twice on our last trip. Great pizza, flat breads, and salads. And good for vegetarians in a meat centric location.

The atmosphere is festive. Its nice and relaxed. Their pizzas are phenomenal. Classic Italian options as we as South African favorites. Will definitely be returning when in Clarens again.
