What a lovely little spot to get away! It is so quiet and beautiful. The house itself is so well looked after and very modern! It was very clean we arrived and had all the necessary amenities. It is very close to everything important. Would definitely recommend!

Just wish the fire place worked.The gas smell was strong from the gas bottles outside.

If you love historical locations, with authentic olde town feel and fittings, this place is for you. Its huge for the price, you have a lovely garden to walk around with uninterrupted mountain views. Creaky old wood floors and stone carved bricks give this place such character. Short walk to town, but far enough away you cant hear the revelry on the night. Perfect for family groups, but watch your head on the door frames.

This place remind me of my granny. old farm style living. Peace and quiet. Really a must visit to renew your spirit. Rest out and relaxed. On the hang of mountain. Great view. have a hike up the mountain to enjoy great view of greater clarens. Golden Gate a must see. Visit all the small art shops in town. Enjoy a bite to eat at one of the menu food stops. Or just enjoy the freestate at its best. Gets really cold during winter. will go back.

Very old with very uneven stairs to access the property from the road. Not recommended for elderly people or people with walking impedimentsNo on site parking

It was a little bit cold, more options for heating, a little bit of TLC needed around the garden and house. Other than that a beautiful experience.
