Fun weekend because of good company, but the facilities were really primitive. E.g. there isnt even a door for the bathroom in one of the two-bedroom rooms and one of the massive windows in the bedroom only have see-through curtains. The cutlery & crockery werent very clean when we got there. Everything was just very, very outdated. NO/Unstable wifi connection even if you pay the extra outrageous R300 just to be connected for a while.All in all. Dont expect much. If nature coupled with no privacy is your thing then this is for you. Otherwise it is pretty outdated & the place definitely needs some work.

We only went in to see the flowers. After all the reviews on Facebook, we were quite disappointed. Was expecting to see lot of flowers growing naturally. Instead it was a Planted garden of quiver trees and daisies the best flowers we found was right next to the dam were we found little gems here and there. Nothing like what we were expecting. On the outskirts of town two days later after the rain, we saw more flowers on the hillside.

Campsite run by what appear to be a syndicate of some sort. Its pure chaos in campsite during wknds with no rules no security and no respect for fellow campers. Site is incredibly neglected and full of weeds. If you looking for peace in a safe camping environment, this is NOT the place.

Basic but clean accommodation, reasonably priced, and easy access to places of interest.

Very standard basic accommodations but located right at the dam so great for boating enthusiasts.

The price is right for the very basic accommodation overlooking a lovely dam. Disappointing to see so much garbage around the day picnic and angle area/ bra ai spots need cleaning up.

Campsite delapidated and dirty. Ablutions broken and dirty.No security, vagrants wondering around digging in dirt bins, rowdy crowds playing thumping music and shouting .Altogether a terrible experience.

Calm and beautiful in the off-season but quite loud and busy between November and Mid January.

Awesome for the hot Clanwilliam weather, but be aware of some noisy nights during holidays...

Poorly poorly weak ..... never again see that place me .... music by night .... councilors go loose before drunk cross language sifting place ... stay away !!!!!!!!!
