What a cute little gem. Upon arrival in the parking lot we didnt think much, but when walking through the gates we were curious at all the little stalls and things to do and food and beverages to sample. Service was slow but the food from Gs place was tasty, filling and proper good value for money. A lot for kids to do. Dogs are welcome and there is a dish one can order on the menu for them. Chilled live music. Overall - a great place to visit for lunch and a cold beverage.
Loved it! Great setup of centre court seating to enjoy a Sunday lunch outdoors. It was a pity there werent many stalls opened. Good space to take dogs on leashes. There are pizzas, burgers and ribs available. Thai massage and craft activities. There is a short train ride for young kids, the rocket ride, jumping castle and go-carts. Small scale for a short family outing. We loved the live singing, super cleaning and all round service. Definitely will visit again!!
Always heard about this place so we tried for the first time on Sunday. Very pleasant and relaxing
Lovely peaceful place with a variety of food stores and good beers. Dog friendly and live music over the weekend. Howard, Cindy, Emma and Darren have a delightful place, well worth visiting.
We love old school chilled vibes. Lovely little market, great food and drinks and able to take your dogs with. Kids enjoyed some arts and crafts at Doodles while we enjoyed the music. Really was a lovely morning and afternoon.
Would rate 5 stars but the payment methods are a little confusing
First visit for me. Ample parking and a nice open area where you can enjoy a meal and drinks. Live music available.
We got take aways from the most amazing little store called Gs Pizzaria, The most incredible Calzone, OMG!!!
Great market and event space. The grounds could do with a bit more maintenance though.
A fun relaxing day out.
The food was great and the staff very friendly.
Awesome Sunday vibes and great deli and restaurant. Perfect chill spot for those lazy afternoons
It was lovely, welcoming, a nice morning out amongst the trees with great food
Greay spot to spend time with friends or family..and dog friendly..affordable and vibey with live music...one of our favorites...
Really lovely vibe. Highly recommended in every way.
Went on Sunday for a light eat... They Only just reopened after lockdown. Was great. Food was basic but very good ( really good value). Great love music. All in all highly recommend
Lovely place to hang out with the whole family...also has a small play area for kids
Was empty and has lost its charm probably due to covid
Take your kids to see Carmen to do some art!!
Really warm and friendly. A good place for a lazy afternoon out.
Really nice outdoor area
Live music, nice food. Nice and relaxing!!!
Lekker pizzas friendly staff, beautiful atmosphere and pet friendly.
Quiet but great. Nice food, they have vegan options for those that are and pet friendly
Great spot, but very quiet, not much happening when i was there
Really had a great day there
Lovely breakfast. Very quiet
Wonderful outdoor venue for a weekend lunch with the family. Friendly staff.
Would be totally 5 star if they had the BTBBQ guys there from Chartwell. Great venue for chilled vibez
Great vibe
Lovely area with a bar that has craft beer and pizzeria on-site. Country style set up.Great to come and hang out on a weekend.Wheelchair accessible parking and entrance.Very relaxing atmosphere.
Nice little market
Had a lovely lunch at the restaurant at the top. There was 2 amazing singers and our waitress was realy friendly. There were a couple of beautiful dogs running around, I am a major animal person, so sadly, I hated the way the owner, or manager treated them, everytime they came near people, they were chased away, quite nasty. It didnt look like anyone minded the dogs running around, they wernt begging or anything, very well behaved. When we asked if theh were his dogs, he said they were the landlords, dont know if he knows how they treat his dogs. It upset me quite a bit, and just ruined our whole lunch watching how they were chasing the dogs, one of which looked quite old.
Really chilled vibes. Awesome place to check out the market and have a drink or 2 if that is what sparks your interest
We were there for the their food and drinks festival. The food stores were great. We bought lost of home style sauces and pestos which were delicious. The gins that were on offer we GREAT and unique. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and they now have an awesome kids play area. We are definitely in for their next festival!
Dog friendly but there are free range chickens so bring a leash if yours has strong hunting instincts. Pleasant way to while away a Sunday afternoon.
Perfect for a nice Sunday outing and live band
Nice and cool place to chill
Nice place to go and chill. Would be better if there were more people. But the live music on a Sunday makes up for it. Be sure to try the Soweto Apple cider, sparkling Apple juice with a percentage! The Weiss beer wasnt too bad either.
I absolutely love going to this place, so many different things to see and a good variety of food and drinks to choose from. A very relaxed environment.
What a wonderful, relaxing place to be. Lots of food stalls, craft beers, a cocktail bar, all with a rustic slant. Antiques, fabrics and craft stalls.Coffee is good but they need to use fresh milk, not UHT. πA chilled Friday night venue, outside with live music and real fires.
Peaceful atmosphere, lots to keep the kids entertained. The Stray Dog Pizzeria operated by Dan the owner and his staff is a must. Freshly prepared food and awesome atmosphere. They deserve 5 stars
Visited on a Saturday for a private function. It was very quiet with only a few food vendors and bar open. I believe it is a lot busier and better to visit on a Sunday. The grounds have sadly not been well maintained.
Relatively large market but poor attendance so many of the stalls are closed. The live band was good but they also lost heart playing to a small audience. This place has great potential but it needs to be re-marketed to attract the crowds. Its difficult to find a milkshake or a fizzy drink but an alcoholic beverage is readily available so pop in for a beer if youre in the hood as the people are very friendly and accommodating.
Nail Society is my go to.
Love this place!! If u are looking for somewhere to go on a Friday night or lazy Sunday afternoon this is the place. Chilled out atmosphere. Great food. And you have to visit their monthly moonlight market festivals. It buzzes with excitement and incredible food stalls. Highly recommended
The lady that makes those low carb gluten free brownies and date balls are fantastic! She loves her job.
We loved the outing ...... we went on a Saturday so not stalls open, but we enjoyed the most amazing food from the home made Indian cuisine. Top class!Great place to relax and could let our 2year old explore. Highly rerecommended
Very very busy. Queue for everything. Parking a nightmare. If you dont arrive really early forget it. When you can get to the front of a queue the food is good. Farm stalls offer good produce but I will not go back.
Evening markets are the best. Usually very busy at that time, be prepared to wait for food or drinks orders. Fabulous atmosphere and there are activities for kids. A good night out with a group.
Great place, hidden from the public. There is some good food stalls and craft beer as well. There are a lot of other stalls that sell a variety of other good but I go there for the food.
Quaint, rustic little market just off Cedar road.We often pop in after our Saturday morning mountainbike rides for a coffee and a pancake. They have a small deli that sells some cool stuff as well.
Too much banting. Wheres the pancakes stand? More food stalls required where cakes and patisseries are served. Love the clowns entertaining the kiddies. Beer runs out quickly so get there before 7pm.
Lovely market with lots of vendors. We came the day after they had a big event and we had the place to ourselves. Iβd recommend visiting during one of their events or when it isnβt a holiday weekend.
What a lovely market venue. Went to the latino 4th October - was absolutely marvellous. The portion size at the Latino cafe was ridiculously small - overpriced something horrendous for the amount of food served. The proprietor was very abrupt and rude but the vibe was epic
Very awesome first Friday of the month markets. They can get very busy, so sometimes the food and drinks may take a while. But still lots of fun
Nice layout. Most stalls empty. Lots of outlets not open. Run down in many areas. Looks like a work in progress but this is my third visit. Bar variety poor. Food service very slow. Food quality not great. All over seems very disorganized. Very disappointing.
Lovely Centre, with a wide variety of shops to suit every taste. There is a stunning Friday night market every second Friday, and a Sunday Market every Sunday. They are must see events! Do yourself a favor and check it out for yourself!
This is a hidden gem, it is very safe and it has great food, beer, ice cream, furniture store, hair salon, second hand store, art gallery, and a kids playground area.
Very nice place with live music, lots of food options and generally a great vibe (Annas food is amazing) albeit a bit hidden away
Visted the moonlight market during winter. It was awesome, with bonfires, pizza, seafood, champagne filling the air, kids all round and little pets which made such a beautiful experience on a cold winters night. However I must admit, the requires more food stalls.
A lovely experience. It isnt super busy, but has lots of lovely stalls. It os a family friendly market with great food stalls, horse rides and a happy atmosphere
Great atmosphere and thinga for the kids to do. Great getaway from the hustle and bustle!
Had such an awesome kuier here for a friends birthday. The people from all the places/shops/restaurants are super friendly and helpful.
Fantastic day out. Good food, good music and a great vibe
Although the atmosphere and location of the market was great, entrance fees are too high especially considering the underwhelming number of stalls currently open.On days where there is no entrance fees the food stalls and restaurants are well worth visiting!
Terrible. There was no one at the nursery interested to sell to us. And the prices !! It is supposed to be a market with bargains ?? The prices are crazy high. I would never buy there which is a pity as it is a magic venue !! Weve been 3 times now and always disappointed we wont be going again.
Lovely place, always a good vibe. Really needs more exposure.
What a wonderful Free-Range place - the food, the drink, the arts, the people! My new favourite place! Mexican, Sushi, Fish, Burgers, Pizza, wine bar, waffles, home baked goods - best rye bread ever!
This place is cute and has great potential. However there arent many stalls to view and therefore not many visitors.
Love the place, variety of food choices, especially the south American food. A place to relax have a nice bite and awesome cocktails.
Beast please in the world, I really enjoy every time when I visit that place
Not a lot going on during the week when I visited. 3 out of 4 shops were closed. It might be better on the weekend but I cant say.
What a hidden gem, must definitely make a plan to go over a weekend as that is when its the busiest. You can go during the week.
Relaxing atmosphere. Would love to go there again
Lovely open air environment for the whole family
Amazing place it is
Great place to go and walk around and look and the stalls. Normally has some live music and great atmosphere.
