Nice venue but a bit weird no cap

Absolutely stunning!! Great atmosphere and such friendly and accommodating staff. GM is such a pleasurable (and funny) guy going the extra mile to make our stay extra special.Rooms neat and well equipped.Interior (stunning) and exterior looks like something out of a travel magazine. We saw Zebras, Nyalas, Springbok, Alpacas and other animals. Outside lovely big pool nice and clean.Very central with great shops, restaurants and entertainment close by.We cant wait to visit you again which we definitely will.

The place is really beautiful I must say very calming and enjoyed my stay the only disappointment was that you could see the room was cleaned a long time ago and was never touched prior to our arrival and the was no breakfast due to covid that was already paid for

Stunning venue, Amazing host (Vee)... VERY Well located..., serene, secluded country life in the city :-). Delicious food at the Spar a few KMs away :-). Catered for all our recreational and relaxation needs. Multiple pools and brilliant garden 👌. Have several animals and birds on property which adds to the atmosphere. Be prepared to make new friends if dog-friendly but be prepared to go directly to the car wash after your stay as the birds are just as well-fed and are indiscriminate with their droppings ☺.

We stayed there during an international convention and we appreciated the love and care that we got from the employees and the manager. I have food allergies and once the chef and manager were alerted they made some changes to the menu so that I could have some food to eat there. The receptionists were amazing, they would talk to us and they gave us some great life advice. If and when we had any issues they were handled in a timely manner.

This place is amazing. The room is clean and the beds are like climbing into clouds. The staff are so kind and go out of their way to help.They offer great excursions. You are picked up up at the hotel.Yesterday we saw lion, petted lion cubs and walked with a cheetah.

A hidden gem off a venue ensconced in a beautiful residential area yet stunning when you enter. With its own forest, horses, donkeys, peacocks and gorgeous conference venues. I use them as much as I can for my business launched.. Classy venue❤️

Very interesting place. Majority of housings are in seperate households. The terrain is surrounded by green, lots of dogs and other animals. Rooms are very big and comfortable. Please beware of possible local animals coming to your room, such as frogs :)

Beautiful place. Very cute dogs all over the yard. I would recommend the place to anybody and it is perfect for large groups as it has many rooms.

Attended a 3 day conference held here and the staff where amazing, very attentive and super helpful. Such peaceful and lushish gardens. Animals around the property are so friendly.

Great place to stay, great food, people. Stayed a few nights before we headed out to the Zulu Nyala Game Lodge out north of Durban. Highly recommend this to anyone.

Very pleasant place to stay. The only issues are spotty WiFi and buffet only food service.

Beautiful retreat with zebras and other local fare. Friendly dogs on the grounds, great food, clean rooms, and an exceptionally friendly staff. Only thing missing is a gym.

The food is below average, canteen type, bland & boring. The water pressure in the rooms are very low, making a good shower challenging. Really not worth the high cost.

The review is purely based on the venue and not the food. Im sorry to say but the food was horrible and not what I expected. Maybe the chef was having a bad night or maybe buffet is not their strong point as a venue, but what we ate was really far from tasty and very hard to swallow.Under cooked vegetables that were all very tasteless and no flavour in any of the dishes.everything needed salt. I was just highly disappointed and I was expecting alot from this place.With that being said the venue however made up for the poor food and service. The venue itself is beautiful and I was very surprized that a place like this was just round the corner.it really is a beautiful place and worth a visit

Its a beautiful venue, not just for weddings but for conferences as well as they have projectors and everything, but as a wedding venue its stunning, the chapel is so open and lets so much natural light in, the venue makes for a gorgeous photos. The staff are also very friendly and Id definitely recommend using this venue for whatever function you my have.

The Zulu Nyala family has been most welcoming starting from our airport pick up to excursions to fine dining. I feel very safe here. The General Manager was most pleasant!The Chef, Mandla Cluet, went out of his way to make our American holiday of Thanksgiving very special.The rooms are spacious with the most comfortable beds and pillows.The grounds are spectacular and well manicured. We enjoyed all the artwork, sculptures and of course the flowers with bees and butterflies.We loved hanging out at the lovely pool when not on excursions.The lion sanctuary was awesome and we learned a lot about the culture and country from our driver, Elias, as well as the from the Lesedi tribal village excursion.We enjoyed all the critters, especially the dogs since we miss ours back home. Sunny was the newest puppy and so adorable!There are horses, ponies, donkeys and peacocks. Although I wasn’t a fan of the rooster it’s truly a paradise. We can’t wait to see what the safari reserve is like as we leave today.Thank you Shaw family for sharing your home! We appreciate that you pay it forward as we got this special trip through a nonprofit silent auction in Evergreen, Colorado USA We got our friends to bid and win a trip too. Nice location close to Johannisburg. Little wildlife reservoir in cosy atmosphere. Huge rooms in a fancy country style. Electric outlets caused me some trouble - no european size available. Food breakfast and dinner more average. Atmosphere overwhelming. In any case a recommendation.
