The Koue Bokkeveld is predominently a fruit farming are. No matter what the season it is always a feast for the senses. In spring the blossoms is absolutely spectacular. This year (2018) turned the area into a winter wonderland.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. The ablusion neat eventhough there are no power. They sell amazing biltong, wors and preserves.

I live here

It gets colder after the sun goes down, especially during winter and early spring down to freezing point, but when the sun comes out in the morning then all is forgiven because the smell of natural freshness and awesome nature will leave you in awe. The change in weather dried up the river to a trickle but just hiking on the hills is great.

The mountains of the Kouebokkeveld are rugged and spectacular. As a tourist route there are several options for both accommodation and wild-hiking. Most of the lowlands have been transformed into agriculture, and there is ongoing transformation of land. While there is some alien clearing taking place, there are too many places neglected. From a conservation/conservancy point of view much more coordination needs to be done.

Stayed over at the farm house belonging to Koos and Adriette Mouton. Great place, awesome rock formations, great mountain biking and simply beautiful people. Visited plenty times. Need to go soon again. So much more to see.

An amazing and beautiful place to visit, being in the area calms the soul and directs the mind to the important things this life has to offer.

Situated at the Southern end of the Cederberg range, the Koue Bokkeveld offers excellent hiking and climbing. Within a few hours you can be deep wilderness.

I often visit my friends in Ceres, in fact 60 kilos out of town...the heart of the Koue Bokkeveld. What an amazing place to connect with mother nature!

Vast natural rugged rock beauty formation and magestic but its besuty has a peacefulness that heals the soul.Nature there is a cathedral of worship and rest under the blue and in the majesty of the cathedrals made from natures own archetectual designer.

There is so much to see in this fruit basket of South Africa. Nature at its best. Have lunch at Grys se Huis. We have Book at Galeo, Schoongezicht, Baliesgat , Kunje, Ouma se huis or Suikerbossie Guest Farm and others to.
