Due to level 4 lock down we were not allowed to do sit-in and order two take away pancakes, coffee and a hot chocolate. Eish, the pancakes must have been frozen and then reheated as this was not tasty at all and the coffee from their coffee machines did not taste like coffee.I hope that things will change in the near future and that they will make sure that these pancakes tastes as good as the sandwiches looked in the display counter.

Deja Brew is a great little Gem, Next to the Ceres Zipslide. The Staff are really friendly and the good is amazing. The service is fast and the outdoor seating is so peaceful. They have great takeaway Coffee. Will definitely visit them Again.

We had the best take away meal ever today at Deja Brew in Ceres. The food was delicious, warm and well prepared and the service was excellent!

Wonderful little coffee shop with a good selection of food and drinks. We stopped there because of a review that said the carrot cake was very good. I can honestly say it was indeed excellent. The carrot cake is made by a local lady (I believe her namd is Rachel) and her recipe did not disappoint. The service is quick and the staff very friendly.

Stopped at Deja Brew for cappuccino and cake. The Apple Pie was recommended to us, which we ordered. Very disappointed that the cake was not freshly baked as the centre was still frozen and had been microwaved to warm it up, which made it very stodgy. Cappuccino was very average. Portion sizes very generous. Service was efficent but the waitron had an intimidating presence. Wont rush back.

Honestly worst coffee and hot chocolate ever had in my life, no care what so ever in making it. Sad for a small business in these times

We arrived to a very cozy and rustic setting.The space is comfortable and the staff are friendly.The baboons kept us entertained too.The adults had a couple of burgers that lacked a bit of flavor and was slightly overpriced for the product.The children had something that was called chicken but resembled the texture of fish cakes. Not particularly appetizing.On a whole it offers some good specials like the soup and the attentive service made the difference.

Absolutely disappointing. We have stopped there for years. Indifferent service and their beef lasagna was more like an undercooked soup with solid flakes of lasagna in it.

Welcoming staff, lovely food! Perfect pit stop for the weary traveller :-) ample parking and situated just before you drive into Ceres so its away from the hustle and bustle of the town. Will definitely be back!

Deja Brew was open on the Sunday afternoon ending a hectic long weekend when Ceres was a food desert.

Ingredients in the chicken salad were all on their way out (probably had a day left in them at best). The chicken pie came out with a frozen center...If the salad ingredients and pie had been fresh, then it would have been a well presented and reasonably tastes food. Unfortunately won’t be returning here

Liked the place. Simple country style in a very convenient setting seeing you have nothing else nearby really.

Went for breakfast at 11. Ordered coffee. Waited 30 min for coffee. After hour and 30 min we asked where our breakfast where and the waiter told us they went to fetch eggs. We obviously cancelled. 4 tables walked out. Table next to us waited 45min for scones and cancelled. Terrible service on an Easter weekend when you must prepared. Owner or owner details was not available to address these problems with directly.

Good spot to stop for a brunch when travelling to the Cedarberg. Iced coffees are the best.UpdateWe used to stop there regularly. But our last visit was the last visit. indifferent staff and the food was well below the standard we were used to.Small businesses need the tourist income. Dont chase away your regulars.
