As architecture this place is interesting. It was the first green school in Gauteng, using solar power extensively - even to flush toilets.Educationally it is said to be one of the better public primary schools in Olievenhoutbosch. However, it is run by the DBE, so that their application form must be used and where your child ends up is more like Lotto than sensible placement. From going to vote there I can see that the children are taught properly in every classroom.As a voting station this place is a cock-up. The design has no problems, but the IEC is either miserly when employing people, or just dont know or care how many people live in Olievenhoutbosch (either way they dont plan for the number of registered voters). The time before getting into the voting room is always ±4-5 hours (in a good year). Worst ever was 10-12 in 2010.I wanted to give 4 stars but the voting and the child allocation method lowered my score.

The school has most of the latest educational technology used in aiding learners to achieve good marks. Most of the buildings are still in good condition and the school yard is always clean although i cant say the same about its surroundings.The city of Tshwane has made this school one of its WiFi hotspots in Gauteng by installing free WiFi in the school which also attracts many people from Olievenhoutbosch everyday.

Yaah proper yet not safe.The downside though is its closeness to a busy street.Young learners are exposed to danger when going to or departing from the school.
