Amazing location both for golf, tennis and relax! Really enjoied to get a drink at the club at sunset in front of the fire after a round of golf. Unfortunately the river crossing is terribly polluted and does really collides with all the rest.

When it comes to Golf courses in Irene this one is a little gem. I am what you call your everyday hacker but Irene Golf Course is perfect for my handicap. The golf course is always in such great condition, I think even Tiger Woods would be impressed with the condition. When it comes to country clubs in Centurion this one caters for everyone from Tennis (They even hosted the Davis Cup) to Bowls to a great club house, its what they sayThis is an all rounder club for family. The best thing about Irene Country Club is the price, its affordable for the average joe like me. Oh and they have great coffee. Looking forward to my next round of golf with you guys.

Very nice golf course and friendly personnel. Just two things parking is a problem, not enough available , and knowing that its out of the clubs hands but the smell along the small river areas are at times very bad and full of litter. Futher on enjoyed the golf course and the club.

Beautiful natural scenery while walking this course. As it is one of the oldest courses in SA I strongly recommend that you play or walk with someone playing at least once.

Well maintained bowls fields and a great bar. Really nice outside area which allows for large groups to interact and enjoy themselves easily. Beverages and food are all top notch. The facilities offered are all what youd expect of a good Country Club. We had a corporate event hear which went flawlessly. Great atmosphere, vibe and entertainment.

One of my favourite course out in Pretoria. always well kept and looked after. they are currently revamping the bunkers; so some are not playable whilst others have either white sand or brown sand. but that shouldnt take away from how great the course is. should be an absolute peach come summer time

Good service, tasty meal... food is basic, but something for everyone.. (pizza, pasta, salads, steak, fish etc)

It was a beautiful day. The staff was professional, theres beautiful scenery (disclaimer the river needs to be cleaned tho , theres a lot of litter by the streams ), plenty of cute animals to be seen and the overall atmosphere was diverse and friendly. Would highly recommend it

Awesome facilities. Truly 5 star room and property but a couple of details missed. Showing of room was perfect. Reservations and front of house need to polish their act. The food was unfortunately a huge disappointment.

Greens are well maintained and the course has a challenging layout. River sides unfortunately strewn with debris, but to no doing of the club and they have regular clean-up operations. New club house is cosy and pro shop friendly and well run.

Irene Country Club greens have been completely rebuilt and are in superb condition giving a consistent roll.The course is also in excellent shape in overall terms. Irene staff are very friendly and obliging, providing great service. In addition they have implemented COVID prevention and safety measures that are of the highest standard.

You must visit the new restaurant Cursive in Irene Country Club! New venture by Byron Paizes of Bugatti and Piza et Vino fame in Irene Village Mall. Wide ranging menu and wine list. Great views over the bowling greens, tennis courts and golf course. For a relaxing lunch in the country or peaceful dinner. Delicious chilli con carne in the photograph.

No mention was made when I made a t time booking We paid full green fees only to find that all greens were severely damaged Some with zero grass whatsoever Why not advise golfers of a matter like this when they make a booking and reduce green fees? I am deeply disappointed

Irene is like so many of the other grand old ladies in SA, always a pleasure to play. The course is in great condition, greens were stunning. Only downside was playing behind a corporate day. Cannot believe that fellow golfers would leave so many bunkers in such a condition with the bunker rakes never more than 2 metres from where they had played from. Seriously people, etiquette, learn the term and understand what it means, please.

Gents Charging R320 for greens thats looks ruffer ( back nine ) than the fairway is a bit over the top guys . To top things up , Johan the manager was not willing to compensate for the last 9 holes providing a golf car or any form even trying to be a gentleman , poor management skills . I kindly feel currently this course for the next few months is not value for your time.

Our company hosted an event at this location and it was very well set up. The staff are attentive and the facilities that were provided to us wereexcellent and met our expectations. The lunch that was provided was also delicious. The club also has well established sporting facilities that are in excellent condition.

The course was nice. We just had one of the course Marshalls keep bugging us for stuff we do wrong. It was the very first time Ive been on a golf course and I did not have a good experience. I wont recommend this to any beginners.

Every golfer should make sure they try out Irene Country Club. The facilities are fantastic and the golf course is spectacular. Most of all, the staff are very friendly and always willing to help! Keep it up guys!!!

Course is well kept and a challenge to play for beginner to amateur golfers. The river that flows through the course causes a bit of a smell at some places, but it seems like management is working on this. Great day out time after time.
