Always a nice moment to stopby and grab a drink, top up fuel and use rest rooms as well . Im however not impressed with how the rest rooms are cleaned. Its usually dirty and that not acceptable.Thanks for touch free hands 👐 sanitizers.Can we also have touch free taps. They are more hygienic looking at the fact that this station services a lot of people from time to time.Most of the times there is water on the floor even inside the rest rooms which is unhealthy. Flies all over not nice at all. You guys can improve this.Our health really matter. Please improve.

Be Vigilant at this garage. At 06:15 Wednesday morning the 26th of May 2021 there was an attempted break-in of my vehicle. I was in the shop for 5 minutes and on my return my door lock was smashed. The criminal/s was unsuccessful in gaining entry to my vehicle. CCTV footage revealed that the criminals drove a red Kia SUV, they waited for me to leave my vehicle and then tried to break into my vehicle while I was in the shop.

To be honest, I was run I out of petrol and shell is not my preferred garage but when I stopped here, the service I received was just amazing. I didn’t wait for an attendant, he was waiting for me.Shared a story with me while the pump filled up my tank, he made sure I was accommodated, even asked about my car hahaha, 5-star service.

Nice stop on the free way. It I always a pleasure to get a snack on your way to different destinations. Shell ultra is the number 1 stop and it also offer variety of snacks and drinks. The staff there is very friendly and helpful

On March 15 at around 13:00 a big black guy wearing a cap stood behind me in the Nedbank ATM queue at the Shell Ultra City North suspiciously. I made eye contact with him. When I faced the ATM, he then pressed a button on the keypad or something suspiciously that was unasked for. I stood still not knowing what to do, so I walked away with my card still in my hand towards the Shell shop.In the shop I could see him staring at me through the window from the ATM. When I drove away later he was still staring at me. He was now walking with someone towards the ATM again still eyeing me.I phoned the manager at the Shell Ultra City N1 South on the way back home at 13:21. He thanked me for reporting the incident, however I have not heard back from him since. It makes me wonder whether they are aware of the problem and if they plan to do something about it.

My little Tazz overheated and I had to make an emergency stop at Shell. Thanks to Gideon and his guys the problem was attended to quickly and I was on my way in no time. Gideon was very knowledgeable and gave me some good advice to ensure I dont get stuck again with the same problem.Thanks so much guys for your friendly and efficient assistance!!! Reasonable service and a good selection. I personally do not enjoy the wannabe car guards though. But this is in a very convenient location. Normally stop for a bite to eat here.

My favorite on-the-go-stop-place between Johannesburg and Pretoria. They have nice sandwiches, but be warned they come at a premium. Coffee is good and service is decent.

Always busy, always noisy, always crowded, yet a mandatory stop if you need lunch, a toilet, petrol or a cash machine. The shop carries all the important stuff and the petrol attendants are usually quick. Perhaps it is a good example of a high-volume emporium being run efficiently.

Its good place to take a break from the highway

Although I got my Petrol but nobody could operate the air pressure. None of the petrol attendants plus the manager were able to check my tyres. Instead of checking the tyre of the correct air pressure they could not tell me if they released pressure or instead put too much air into the tyre. I stopped the attendants to prevent damage and risking my life riding my bike with wrong air pressure. It was a very disappointing and unpleasant experience. Will not support this garage again. A garage on the highway and not being able to operate the air pressure is not acceptable. I left and went off the highway on Old Johannesburg road, had my tyres checked out at the next Sasol garage and Indeed it was 2,5! Far too much! When I left Sasol garage I got told its 1.8! But I could see that the tyre was pumped up far too high. 5 petrol attendant and one manager and nobody knew how to measure the tyre pressure and on top given out false statements. I lost trust in that garage. Its a no from me.

This service centre has deteriorated terribly, poorly maintained, signs everywhere warning about safety concerns, not a reassuring place to leave your vehicle while getting food, food services slow, rather go on to Azul if you dont need fuel, nicer restaurants and lovely animal sightings

A good stop on N1 between centurion and Midrand. If headed south be careful not to offramp at the first exit.

One petrol attendant didnt bother helping me fill up my car because he was busy polishing someone else car for a big tip, so I was super disappointed with shell Polokwane mall of the North, poor customer care.30 September 2017 sometime around 13 to 14:00. Disappointed 😔 too bad did not get good service or no service just like others..I love shell but this one Ill never go to. Management please view the video I was driving a KIA PICANTO and the petrol attended refused to help me because he was busy polishing a Benz.. Was disappointed because the guy didnt do this according his job description, but I was thankful shell Makhado helped me.

Every time I stop here a new beggar asks me for petrol money. No drinking water refill either.

The attendants here are not paying much attention..I was left waiting for a petrol slip for over 10minutes..and had to go back to remind the only to find that they were busy with someone else and had forgotten about me.
