Strawberry Moose is a pretty little coffee shop situated inside the Hospice Centurion grounds. It offers indoor and outdoor seating and some live music. The inside of the shop is beautifully decorated and spotless; and even has a gift shop section. The food and drinks were delicious and beautifully presented and the staff were friendly.Unfortunately most of the items on the menu was not available or sold out when we were there, and that was quite disappointing as it was our first time there and we came especially to have brunch at Strawberry Moose. I must compliment Hennie and the team. The cafe was spotless. I confess. I peeked into the kitchen from the safety of my indoor table. Everything in the fridges was neatly organised into containers stacked in an orderly fashion. I just felt safe and reassured.With a choice of indoor or outdoor seating, Strwaberry Mousse Cafe is perfect for resting between or after visits to the well-stocked second-hand book store and charity shop. I noticed a heater built into a mock fireplace feature. Guess where I will be sitting from May to July when I visit again?The cafe serves light meals, pastries and cakes. You can buy fresh croissants, bread and homemade chutney. Everything is tastefully presented in immaculate display cases or stands. Tribeca coffee is expertly prepared and served.The cake portions are generous without being obscene. My chocolate cake was fresh, moist and generously covered in cream and then topped with a chocolate ball. A request for a glass of water brought a lovely glass bottle of chilled water.Considering the seating options, the cafe is perfect for small group functions, Saturday morning breakfasts or brunches with family and friends, and solitary laptop sessions.Why not go through your garage and storage rooms to see what you can donate to the Hospice charity shop? In addition to supporting the excellent work Hospice does, you can treat yourself to something sweet or savoury - or both. Yes. Both.

Anbelievable fresh bakes, the breads (more than one tipe) are healthy. Meals are nice tast full. People are very friendly. They have trained baristas (coffee).

What an asset to Hospice! Quiche and salad were crispy delicious. Chef Paul-Henrys cheesecake is definitely the most delicious in SA.
