We took my wifes late mothers clock mechanism in to obtain a quote for repairs. We were met with such a dismissive attitude, the likes weve NEVER encountered anywhere before. The old clock was described as run of the mill and dime a dozen - sentimentality apart, perhaps, but how incredibly rude in any event... It was rather amusing to us, as we walked back to our car, Mamas clock safely tucked under my arm, that whoever this person was, they just missed the boat as potential caretakers of our entire French Ormolu clock collection, both here and in France...not that they would even possibly know what a real French ormolu clock looks like, or the value thereof....Bad taste in the mouth experience...certainly wont go there again, ever or recommend to ANYONE..

Excellent workmanship

I took in two mechanical watches to be serviced and repaired if needed and was informed that they do not do watch repairs any more but they can service my watches. They then quoted me ridiculous prices for the servicing of the watches which was much less than what a qualified watchmaker at Rolex in Cape Town quoted me for the same watches. Maybe you guys should remove the words watch repairs from your windows as it is considered false advertising
