This very quickly became a place I will be frequenting, the atmosphere is wow, the food is amazing for what we paid and the drinks are cheap. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and I just all round was happy with everything.

I highly recommend their food! They have amazing specials. For only R80.00 you get a delicious large pizza and a beer. Do yourself a favour and try them out. I will most definitely be visiting them again.

To begin with lets start with the vibe. As far as uniqueness goes Id say its a solid 9. From the trippy rastafarian wall art to the benches displaying this theme and the great rock music its cool without actually trying too hard. Which is the definition of cool so kudos to them for getting that down.In addition to the vibe the food and drink is standard bar food in my opinion. Baskets, pizzas, chips etc. Its bar food and pretty decent bar food I might add. Affordable as well so thats a 8 from me.Furthermore Id like to elaborate on the service which I found to be very satisfactory and friendly. The oak at the bar was very friendly and quick to help. The waiters were always somewhere to be seen and finding one wasnt missions. So thats a 9 for service.Id highly recommend cool runnings for all merrymakers and bar-goers. Definitely worth a visit. Also they do bingo with prizes on Thursdays which also adds to fun

They close way to early, the waiter told us that his barman just had left so there was no way of us ordering cocktails,then when we wanted to order food at around 17;30 he said his kitchen staff have left.. so I wont be coming back to that place

Unfortunatly the keeper of the place is very personal about his pool tables (over personal).I would not recommend playing a nice game of pool or having drinks with friends # personal experience. (Bad review). Management is poor. Waited for my drinks an extended amount of time. Would not go there again. Toilets are dirty...very dirty. Turned of light before we finished our pool game. Not kidding. This is not cool at all. The place needs some reshaping. If they are gonna make it. Covid regulations were not met.

Fun and easy place.

We went for quiz night. It was lots of fun. Food was good and drinks were reasonably priced. Service was a bit slow, but the pub was busy. Adequate safe parking. Ill definitely go back.

The food at Cool Runnings is very good. The service is also quite good. The atmosphere is relaxed, and it is an ideal place to spend a relaxing night with friends. Doing a quiz night here is especially fun. Parking can get full quite easily, though.

Remember back in the early 2000s when vapes didnt exist, and underaged kids caught lifts with creepy 20 year olds to pestroy shows. This is it. A time capsule of hard Rock and bad decisions. Its a long way to the top if you wanna rock n roll.

Service really slow and getting a craft beer at the bar was not a cool experience ....glass was handed to me with beer dripping everywhere. Jikes! You dont serve drinks like that. Not cool.

Typical bar scene for a youngish crowd. The bench table we used had been sabotaged with bubblegum, ruined a good pair slacks. The pizza and nachos was excellent though!

Fairly good pizza, and a typical locals type of pub. The quiz night master was incredible, and quiz night (Thursday nights) are a lot of fun.Loud, rock music atmosphere. I feel the place could do a bit more to feel more cultured in terms of how average pubs go, but maybe this is just the vibe of it - quite beachy. The service is good.

What a disappointment, take 50min to prepare a burger with 2 chefs in the kitchen and there is barely 5 people in the place who ordered food

I was waiting for my car to be repaired, had the chicken wing basket at an outside bench. Enjoyable food, very good waiter.

Waiter was good but the food. The halloumi was so salty they could have left the cheese when I mentioned it the kitchen staff thought I was being sarcastic! Also the pizza was doughy and undercooked. I will never go again.

Great place for a pub lunch with a more upmarket crowd, after dark however it somehow attracts a different crowd.

Chilled vibes

Great vibe with good food and friendly staff. What else could you ask for?

Our experience here was terrible, our first order was fine but after that it went downhill, 3 of got different beers than what we ordered, we let it slide. 1 got rum instead of whiskey, after that round i ordered another beer and again got a completely different beer than what i asked for, we ordered food at 17:30 and only recieved it at 18:25, not a good experience.

Great place for a night out

The atmosphere is great and the music is even better with a great variety. Unfortunately the worst cocktails I have ever had, barely had the ingredients mentioned on the menu.

Good drinks. Good food. Not too pricey. Other patrons arent looking for a fight. Perfect for a hangout.
