Grey Owl Spur is just a nice place to be. They follow protocol rules. Everything is nice and clean and sanatize before you sit down. The food came quick, it was nice and fresh. The chicken schnitzel was so soft. Love it!

Restaurant was clean and quiet on this Sunday evening. Although we waited for quite a while for our meal. When it did arrive my husband food was cold and mine warm. He asked for his plate to be heated up, which was done. Food was good but I would ask them to pay a bit more attention to service.

Currently our Go-to Spur. Friendly staff and the food quality is very good. The lady that watches over the kids in the play area is spesifically very friendly and very good with the kids

Returned again for a Sunday Lunch 13 May 2018 and see all prices has gone up a lot. Different waiters than before. Our waiter had no front teeth... Spoils my appetite already. 200g steak OK but not matured and tough. Very noisy and irritating music. Other meal Chicken wings OK, but someone poured a lot of salt on it before serving??? NOT GOOD THUS TIME. LACK OF MANAGEMENT IT SEAMS.OLDER POST BELOWAsked waiter for a Fillet steak without spices. He suggested that basting be served separately in bowl. PERFECT!! REALLY GREAT AND ATTENTIVE SERVICE. Also asked for well done steak and chips... It was done perfectly... Just as asked. Better than any SPUR around here in Centurion!! Highly recommended . Also great window seating and music not to loud.

Totally received great service. Meals were well prepared and on time. Waiter was friendly, patient and helpful. Mexican meals are totally the best on the menu and so is the cheesy garlic roll. Cant get enough. Quite clean and nice atmosphere.

But was not happy 2019 on my birthday when the waiter told us that the speed point was not working and told us to go to the ATM To get cash .when we come back we saw other customers paying with they cards. So we were classified as pple who cant pay they Meals

We got truly great customer service from our waiter from the moment we stepped in. He was courteous, efficient and helpful throughout. The food was delicious. I appreciated the improved vegetarian menu. Good social distancing and sanitation protocols were observed throughout. Overall, a truly great experience and I would totally come back!

This 5 star rating is for Spha...he was such anamazing host.This is the Spur I favour in Jhb but the service we received this Sunday was more deserving than a 5 star.Spha was so friendly and helpful. Worst service ever..... this spur will never see me or my money again. Our drink order took 20min when I got up and went to the drinks area they all stood there and had a nice chat with no drink order on my table yet. It was not busy and looked over staffed but to my surprise alot of staff doing nothing I would hate to see this place when its packed.

On Monday, the 8th of March 2021, was my sons first birthday and the treatment that we recieved there is definitely worth an oscar🥳🥳🥳. The staff was super friendly and my waiter (Kwanele) was super accomadating. Honestly its one of those moments that i wish i can relive over and over again. Thank you so so much for making his day so memorable. I most definitely would recommend this place to anyone. Its really worth every moment you spend there😁

Dirty and fill of flies. The tables were stuck even after they were wiped down. Had to go and search for the waiter all the time. Waited 15 minutes for the menu, and bad to track him down to get him to bring it. Would definitely not recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere and service today. All the Covid protocols were observed and we were served by Mandla, an extremely friendly and knowledgeable gentleman! Definitely coming back soon.

Good service but spinach and butternut are terrible. Sea food can also be improved. The seafood and veggies were not worth the money.

Worst ever!!! I’ll never order again after they screwed up my first order they didn’t send my cooldrinks so I ordered again now and didn’t read the special instructions for food. Gave them a second chance ordered on Uber eats. Will never support spur ever again. Useless to spend money on this place. Spur doesn’t live up to the expectations they’re losing it.

Great food and welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant is nice and big but never crowded. This creates the situation where you are quickly helped and service is quick. Also you are not bothered by you neighbor as there is more then enough space for everybody. Errors with order may and do occur but is always minor faults.

The changes are awesome, keeping up with times.However,it seems that the the awesome changes have affected the food taste and quality.My buffalo wings had a stale taste, my steak was odd tasting.Not the Spur Experience i know and enjoyed in the past, why change the look if the taste is affected???

Great and friendly service. This Spur is especially good at serving bigger parties of people. The staff keep their heads well and make sure not to disappoint. Would go there again anytime as Ive been visiting this Spur on and off again for many years and can only say good things about it. The only complaint I have is that there arent many options for fresh foods on the menu, like there used to be (for example, there used to be a muesli bowl as a breakfast option but its no longer there)
