Nice, relaxed camp site, not too many individual sites, so doesnt feel crowded. Lots of old oak trees/shade, very decent ablutions. Natural swimming pool about 10 minutes walk away. Good option as a base for rock climbing and day hikes.

10 stands under Oak trees with electricity. No grass. Clean ablutions. Great views onto the surrounding mountains. 15 minute walk to large pool in the river to cool down.

Kliphuis ia a fantastic camp site with clean bathrooms .I wish the booking center were more organized as we were told they were full, took a chance and drove to the office only to find plenty of space .Lovely walks off the campsite , it can be dusty on the sites but don’t let this put you off A well spaced out site .

Fun for the whole family

The Cederberg mountains are situated near Clanwilliam and is about 300 kms from Cape Town. We camped at the Kliphuis Campsite, in the Cederberg mountains, situated near a river and surrounded by trees. The ablution block is great and very neat with a few showers with hot water. Besides fishing, swimming, cycling, and mountain climbing, you can also visit the famous Stadsaal Rocks and Lots Wife. There is also other campsites like Sanddrif, Kwagga Kamma and Sanddrif nearby. A great camping experience!

Nice and quiet, but no good swim hole and site could use grass at the camping sites
