Attended a wedding. Spent the weekend with old and new friends in the stalle. Absolutely amazing stay, amazing wedding, and amazing food.The stay was very pleasant, and catered to all the needs of a small and big crowd.Definitely on the to do list to go back

Words cant truely describe HOW AMAZING our experience with Acorn Guest Farm was.When we saw the venue January 2019 we immediately knew This Was The One! We walked a longer than usual road with Christelle and Johan, with the pandemic forcing us to reschedule everything only 2weeks before our actual date (11April2020). We finally got married 17 April 2021 without a hassle!During those uncertain times, we were reassured and accommodated that no matter what we will be able to get married at their venue when its time. From the beginning we had absolutely NO issues or extra stressors. During the wedding weekend everything was as discussed and we received so much help from Christelle and Johan! From the accommodation being spotless, the venue being ready to decorate earlier than discussed, and literally anything we needed being provided. Everything was Perfect! They are the kindest people and they go ABOVE AND BEYOND to make your day special.I HIGHLY recommend Acorn Guest Farm as a wedding venue, or even just accommodation for your weekend away. Their facilities are absolutely amazing and we cant wait to visit there again!

A beautiful place hosted by warm hearted people. Our two daughters (7 and 10 at the time) loved the animals, walks, making new friends and 108 year old farm house. My wife and I enjoyed the calmness and just to recharge doing absolutely nothing. Johan was kind to take us to view their beautiful farm and the kids loved to learn a bit more about being a farmer.

This quiet farmstyle venue is the perfect place to go to relax from the hustle of the city life. It makes the best wedding venue because they go out of their way to make your day special!

Acorn Guest Farm is highly recommended. My sisters wedding was hosted at this lovely country farm and we decided to make a longweekend celebration out of it.There is ample space for a large family far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The farm house and cottages have absolutely everything for a long weekend stay. Including cutlery, appliances like washing machine, coffee machine, television, and refrigerator.A large area available for a Braai and social the night before the wedding.The accommodation is safe and a short walk to the wedding venue. The venue is beautiful! It has a cozy outside social area with couches and a big bon fire.For the formal ceremony, the venue has an outside area available surrounded by trees or alternatively an in-door chapel.The hosts are absolutely amazing! Available to the guests throughout the wedding evening. We felt extremely welcome and looked after.One of the best wedding venues Ive ever had the pleasure to visit. Not only becuse of the gorgeous location, but also because the owners of the guestfarm really understand all the needs of a wedding party. At an affordable and fair price.

Exactly one year ago, we got married at the Acorn Guest farm. It was a weekend affair which began with a meet-and greet braai and ended with a lazy Sunday morning goodbye breakfast. Our host Corlien Combrink and her family were exceptional; caring and warm, professional, attentive to detail, calm and collected at stressful moments, and accommodating of our particular needs. The team at Acorn really love what they do, they want their clients to be happy and they are willing to get their hands dirty! Nothing was too much trouble; Hendrick Senior unasked, brought a toy truck for the children to play with - it was by far the most popular item. He ferried stranded guests around the farm.Days before the wedding we had a crisis which left my fiancé and I feeling overwhelmed. The acorn team was exceedingly generous and we will never forget this act of kindness. We felt like they really had our backs.We had up to 80 guests staying overnight and they were very comfortable. The self catering set-up makes it ideal for multiple opportunities to gather around a meal. If you want DIY, there was lots of opportunity to get creative with their store of decor items. The poplar forest is magical; brimming with life, luminous, truly a special place to hold a ceremony.Our meal was catered by Ivan of Toast Fine foods. A chef who is a perfectionist in his craft and still has our guests talking about the wedding meal. I wish we could have an encore! Our flowers were prepared by Rene at The Green Chameleon in Middleburg; give her free reign and shell bloom and delight. Thank you Acorn Guest farm for a wedding weekend that left our hearts bursting with joy!

Its absolutely amazing, the feel, the peace and communion with nature and people this place has. Definitely a wedding venue worth considering if youre looking for something intimate and beautiful (doesnt even begin to describe)!

Its located in a beautiful area, with very friendly owners and personnel, but their seatings arrangements are not comfortable for old people, and their toilets are awful. There are no urinals for the men, and the sink structures make it extremely hot. The entertainment building has got poor ventilation with no fans or air conditioning.
