We just stopped here to put fuel in. But gosh, Carnarvon is a dump, I can imagine that once it must have been beautiful, now the streets are littered with paper, empty cooldrink bottles, chips packets, cigarette butts, general rubbish, etc. Looks a bit like a landfill site. Dont know how people can live like that, no pride. So, we only stopped here for fuel because theres nothing else to keep you here... Sad

They have nice food, a big screen for the live World cup game, friendly services.

Always stop to buy vetkoek and mince and use bathroom facilities which are always clean and smell good. Keep up the great work.

All things considered, this cute little spot, off the beaten path is a good place to has up the car and grab a pie or some.snacks for the road!

Kalahari Hide was a real gem! Comfortable and secluded in a rather busy town, Kuruman.

A new(ish) restaurant and one stop shopping facility in Carnarvon as part of a Fuel Station.The food was good, but only acceptable for the Kudu Burger. It will certainly improve over time.A very nice Play Canyon for children is a big plus in a remote town.The shopping facility is modern and has most of the commodities for travellers and residents alike.
